Brisbane 2032 Olympic preparations lagging behind

Queensland Premier Steven Miles has reportedly begun a shadow review before the former Brisbane Mayor Graham Quirk finalised a 60-day venue review he was asked to lead.
Mr Quirk has told the hearing that he was blindsided by the move.
“Elected governments can do what they will,” Mr Quirk said.
Shadow Infrastructure Minister Bridget McKenzie believes the preparation was “half-baked and half-assed”.

If a country cannot stay on schedule in preparing for a minor event like hosting the olympics eight years hence, how can anyone think the country can transition to all electric vehicles in only 11 years. That is a much, much larger undertaking which will costs thousands and thousands of times more money than the Olympics!
