    I remember when I told my doctor that I was going to stop eating meat and dairy she replied "well you're not going to be healthy" 🤣🤣🤣 that's the last conversation we had. I haven't been sick since 🤷🏾‍♀️
  • It's not just the "FOODS", it's anything that we "INGEST." That means, the music we listen too, what we watch on television, the different liquids that we drink, our environment, and last but not least, the company that we keep. All those things are essential, to the mind and body.

    A few years ago my grandmother was having a rough time with her body and the hospital pumped her with steroids and all kind of pills to help numb her pain. She Was preparing her will and she was the biggest she's ever been in her life. She took it upon herself to do research and realize that the meds were no good for her body. Not only did she also realize that common ingredients and most Foods in America where the root of the problem. One big ingredient I can remember specifically is soy. I'm glad to say now that she is doing way better she dropped all of the weight and she walks all the time just because she has so much energy. That was about 10 years ago now she is about 70 years old with the new husband new home and a good life. That was about 10 years ago

  • The fact that they are eating together just adds a special essence to this interview. Something that makes my soul jump is seeing young black people speaking life into each other over healthy food and conversation. This interview gave me life and reset my mindset to go back to healthy eating.

  • I've been vegan for about 6 years and found it to be difficult not to overindulge in carbs. Definitely have to eat with mindfulness. I love detoxing for wealth.

    I’ve been vegan 16 days … started as a Daniel Fast but my sister has been encouraging me. She’s been vegan 2 years. I also want to really change my habits so I’m going to stick with it. I feel so much lighter & alert. I’m using the bathroom on a consistent basis… learning to control my cravings & replace them with what we have in nature. There really are alternatives for everything. Instead of ice cream I’m eating fruit with this fire ass almond butter & I make my own açaí. I love cooking though as well so this isn’t as hard for me. You gotta get in the kitchen & have fun- try new things get creative! Go to farmers markets etc educate yourself & hold yourself accountable! Pray about it etc. If you’re reading this- you got this! FR & work out! At least 20 mins a day for beginners
