I wrote down some of my feelings and thoughts about LBD on my tumblr. Here's it:
This webseries has been such a great thing. It was excellently adapted and performed. I have grown so attached to the characters I am truly going to miss waiting for new episodes and constantly checking twitter for updates (until I found out I could put all the characters on twitter alert so I could actually do other stuff during the day).
I have been watching since the very first episode and I've seen this series grow more in viewers and in prestige and it deserves all this attention and more.
So, thank you to everyone who has been a part of the making of LBD. Thank you Hank Green for being the genius that you are and coming up with it. Thanks to Bernie Su for being such a troll the whole time :). The writers and everyone involved behind cameras.
Ashley, you were this great, modern, tangible Lizzie and have made me bring out the Lizzie in me. There are no words to demonstrate just how right you were for this part.
Mary Kate you impressed me with every performance. Lydia's story is so rich and you made it stand out and stand on it's own despite the fact that this is supposed to be Lizzie's story. Props for that and for being totes adorbs.
Laura you made me like Jane. For some reason I always felt Jane's character was an obstacle to Lizzie's growth and coming to terms of who she is. You showed me this other side of Jane, one that makes her worth the while.
Julia, Allison, Jessica, Daniel, Max, Christopher, Wes and Craig, you all deserve standing ovations.
As a mere viewer, I just wanted to extend my thanks for this great creation. You are each made out of awesome and it was a pleasure to have been among the audience to witness Lizzie and Charlotte drift apart and then mend their relationship, see Lydia in her best and worst days, share Lizzie and Darcy's first on camera fight and kiss, and now this last episode :)
I hope to see more from all of you individually and until then,
It has been so good to see you.
