  • I came home from school each day as a teen in Nairobi, feeling drained, distraught, distressed and wanting to not live another day. I sat in front of the t.v. at 5:30pm to watch Oprah and by the end of every show, I was rejuvenated; I did my homework, I pressed my uniform, I ate my dinner, I went to bed with hope and I survived another day of being bullied, feeling misunderstood and unheard. My Mum was in Zambia, my home country so I could only call her once in a while, I lived with my Dad. Oprah was the mother's daily voice in my mother's absence. Telling me to go on. And so I did.

Larry wasn't interviewing Oprah, it was like watching two pals catching up and having great conversation. That's what makes it great. RIP LARRY KING

This interview is so natural. They are just having a chat, as if nobody is watching, genuine.
  • I love Oprah and I don’t care what anybody said, she did so much. She did so much to a lot of people, sometimes you have to look on the good side instead of judging, she’s only human and sometimes she will make mistakes like anyone else but love her regardless.

Great interview. Love that she never shies away from admitting how great it is to have money. She truly embraces everything in life.

RIP Larry King, such a legendary interviewer!
  • I love how Oprah, at her core, is an interviewer. I thought it was the cutest thing when Larry asked “what is it like to die on screen?” & she said “oooh, that’s so good.” That was a great question!
