Luke and Leia reunion (Star Wars the Last Jedi)

2 things about this scene that break my heart: 1) Carrie Fisher helped write this scene and came up with the line "No one is ever really gone" 2) Mark Hamill ad-libbed Luke kissing Leia on the forehead

For all the flaws with TLJ, the reunion between Leia and Luke was one of the best and most emotional Star Wars scenes.

Luke Skywalker.......the greatest Jedi hero of all time... Tried so hard to not let his nephew become like his father.

"No one is ever really gone." True enough Luke, you did bring your father back from the Dark Side after he butchered every single Jedi in the Jedi Temple on Coruscant during Order 66, even the children.

This is the time when you find out that Leia, one of the strongest characters in the saga, had lost all her hope, and then Luke returned, faced the First Order and ignited the spark of hope. They didnt ruin Luke Skywalker character and this scene is the example
