Bit of a different style of video to usual... but had lots of fun filming & reviewing my new badass camera! πŸ“Έ What did you think of this style of video, I'm SUPER curious!! And let me know if I convinced you how awesome this camera is!! (PS - Not sponsored at all haha)

I follow a lot of tech channels, and this was a great review! It was very authentic, and you nailed all the important bits. The only thing missing was the hallowed unboxing. ;) It was like a tech review, and food blog, all in one! haha
  • @bookthump
Wow, this SHOULD be a sponsored video. This footage sold me. Thanks for the fun, relaxing video! I miss Japan and love revisiting the country through your channel.

New camera looks amazing! and I agree not need for face tracking when you are sitting down/not moving much
  • @thepsychopotato
    I don't even do video/vlogging but now I want that camera. πŸ˜€πŸ˜‚
  • @Enoxix.
Camera is really good! I was surprised by how fast it can change focus from far and near. Quality is also amazing! If they make it water-resistant/proof for the next model that would be really nice.

I miss Japan so much 😒 its been on my mind constantly. Just had my first kid tho so idk when ill be able to go back. Hope you enjoy every moment there. If I could go back in time I would of completely changed my career and life to live in Japan.

Sarah, you could take-over any tech channels, this review is so natural. I feel like buying one. :face-blue-smiling:

was stationed at Yokosuka while in the military; this brought back a lot of memories from Akihabara - lots of familiar sites!

Thank you for sharing your experience with us. I was on the fence on buying the pocket but seeing your genuine excitement and enthusiasm makes me want to get one.
  • @TheKadato
Really enjoy you taking us through your thought process!

Take me back to Akihabara! I was there 3 weeks ago and loved it. We are already planning our return. I'm even starting Japanese classes in August.
  • I thought this was the best video review I've ever seen about the DJI Osmo Pocket 3. I've been wanting this camera but on the fence about buying it because all other reviews on YouTube make it look either difficult to use given the bouncy, shaky quality of their videos or they explain nothing on how to actually use the camera in real life scenarios where you want the best shots. You knocked it out of the park on how to use it and convinced me you can shoot steady high quality video on it. Ordering one today and subscribing to your channel!

Now that's a super cool camera!! Thanks for sharing the info πŸ‘
  • @hellshire11
your excitement is really showed in this video
  • @WabbitCrouton
Did not expect a tech review, but was honestly well done and tackle the questions normal users would have on foot instead of talking about it in a studio. Nice!
  • Great video! I'm currently using the Pocket 2 and really like it. I've been considering upgrading to Pocket 3, mostly for the improved dark/night quality since that seems to have been improved a lot. The battery extension is also a nice bonus, the duration of the battery in my pocket 2 has noticeably degraded over the years and having a power bank wired to the camera for longer shots does take away quite a lot of the flexibility that is one of the main selling point of the pocket cameras :)
  • @biteofdog
It looks like you found a fantastic video camera. It's amazing how far technology has come and I'm especially impressed with how compact it is while having exceptional 4K video quality. The night time footage is stunning.
  • @dlschgo
Great camera and great review. You went through all of its features and, better yet, showed us the results.
  • @cakeswithfaces
I have that camera too! I'm also loving it. I can't believe the quality is as good as my larger DSLR style camera, and it even outperforms it in low light in the evenings. I agree, the gimbal takes a bit of getting used to when tilting to film things close up, and I'm also still getting used to getting the audio levels right. I think I'll still take another camera around with me for when I want to zoom in more. The gimbal has improved my videos so much - the shakiness was a big problem for me before, as I didn't want to carry an extra gimbal around with me. I also need to work out the best frame rate; I set it to the same as my other camera and there's awful flickering on fluorescent lights.
