Free Camping along the Gulf Coast is still possible at these free beach spots; Rutherford Beach, LA, Brazoria County Beach & Magnolia Beach, TX.

We made three stops along the Gulf Coast to do some free beach camping.
Our first free beach camping spot was at Rutherford Beach, LA. A nice big beach with great fishing from shore.

Our second free beach camping spot was at Brazoria County. Another nice wide beach. It's hard-packed for easy driving and can accomodate any sized rig.

Our third and final free beach camping spot is one we've stayed before. Magnolia Beach is located just south of Port Lavaca on Matagorda Bay. It's a rocky, hard-packed beach, but is still a great place to overnight or spend a few days if needed.

Glad to see you back on the road again. I think these are the kind of videos you guys should be posting. Informative and interesting. Lived just off the Brazos river right where the tide hits the fresh water. Never swim in that area. It will take you under in a heartbeat. Safe travels and happy trails out there.

We'll never forget that ferry ride because it was FREE! We ended up beach camping on Bolivar Beach and rode or bikes back across the ferry into Galveston. Good primer for Baja beach camping.

Glad to see you two are back on the road. We have enjoyed your videos for a long time now. I enjoyed seeing the ferry over to Galveston as it brought back memories to our motorhome trip across the southern US from Pensacola to San Diego back in 2020. Look forward to seeing more of your adventures.
