Back in 1985, a visiting Chinese official stayed with a local family in Iowa, the U.S. The family were the Dvorchaks, and little did they know that their amiable young guest would, less than 30 years later, become the President of China. Xi Jinping has never forgotten his American hosts, and has made a point of meeting them from time to time over the years.

No Western or American leader will be this humble and down to earth.
  • President Xi is a great example of a compassionate, intelligent, honorable, peace loving leader. The world need's people like him at the top to guide the world to a peaceful, green, poverty free, existence with cooperation and friendship. He performed wonders for China, with his kind smiling ,intelligent manner, he is constantly requesting the world leaders to visualize a peaceful world where the masses of the world matter, no country is too small to matter. His truthfulness compared to Western politicians and leaders is so refreshing, the masses of the world admire and respect him greatly for it.
  • Imagine if America have a leader with mentality like Mr Dvorchak himself

this is one of the many reasons why I love Xi Jinping! He is unlike other leaders of this world. he is down to earth, pragmatic, and frankly peaceable. Love from Ghana.
  • President Xi is a great man. Respected by people all over the world. He got real class like the Queen, he commands respect, he does not demand it.
  • President Xi has rich experiences when working in the governments for decades🇨🇳
He has the wisdom that many other politicians don’t have
  • excellent video. Warm wishes from ALL CHINESE to you and yr family. Everyone (EVERYONE) should MAKE EFFORT to understand (not judge) other cultures and THE BEST way to do that IS BY GOING THERE AND EXPERIENCING IT YOURSELF. no other way. With real understanding and humility comes real friendship, real respect for cultural diversity.

Very heart warming memories. If the governments of two great countries, US and China, could have the same kind of relationship that would be great for the people of the world.
  • Such a humble person. President Xi is a great leader 👏
  • Amazing! Nation should unite together to love,to progress, to learn and to protect .
  • Learning about Xi's life, one learns that he did not get to where he is today the easy way, with silver spoons, like many of the US and UK leaders. I can only think of Angela Merkle and Jeremy Corbin as having had it just as tough.

A really nice story. It’s a lesson that friendships and people to people interactions go a long way. Also, people don’t forget if you a nice to them and have an impact on their life.
  • The most important attribute of a person is gratitude. And Xi seems to have it.
