This is a perfect demonstration on why it is so important to have multiple ways of getting warnings. The sirens did not activate until 6 minutes after the warning came through on the weather radios.

There were several alerts that came in throughout the night but after coming out from cover there were no more alerts. My tornado warning was the 4th alert to come in from where the video starts off.

Yo! Long time no see! I’d admit, this was a very scary event, especially for the ones in the Woodridge EF3 Tornado. My county was also affected by a Tornado warning (Im in the county east of you, LaPorte) One of the first major outbreaks I had experienced since November of last year.

I live further from you and we have our own tornado alley(dixe alley) i often listen to my weather radios for tests and warnings and watches
