Their voices are so compatible with one another. I wouldn’t mind listening to a whole album from these two. 🔥

Everytime a TDE artist drop some new shit it just sounds cleaner and higher quality then anyone else on their level. Been the best label out for over a decade

TDE still the most raw, authentic, and talanted music label in Hip Hop today. Everyone in the label is so unique

Everybody talking about Zay (who I love), but I'm ready for SiR's next album. Chasing Summer one of my favorite R&B albums. Can't wait for both!

This the type of song you specifically play after midnight and reflect on life. Such a good vibe

Isaiah Rashad so underrated. He's versatile. I can't wait for his new album! I love the beat too...it's so chill and perfect in the first afternoon in summer😂

Dope song, but also dope symbolism. The knife hanging above his head by a string seems like a direct reference to the story "The Sword of Damocles." It's an old story where a man who served a king mentioned how lucky the king was to have his position of power and all the fruits and luxuries of power. The king responds that he will trade places with the man for a day so he can see what being a king feels like, and the man quickly agrees thinking it will be amazing to hold such a position of power even for a day. But the king wants the man to have the full experience, so when they trade places and the man takes his place on the throne, the king hangs a sword over the man's head which is only held up by a single hair from a horse's tail. The man spends most of his time as "king" for a day terrified that the hair will snap and he will be killed by the sword when it falls. He cannot enjoy his position of power or any of the luxuries or the servants waiting on him hand and foot. And eventually he begs the king to trade places back so he can be free from the threat of imminent death. The story shows that those who are in power or at the top in some way, are always facing threats from people around them - that with power or fame comes danger and it is not always as nice at it seems at the top. When you listen to the lyrics it makes perfect sense that this is the symbol they'd use for the cover... Source: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Damocles

TDE is my favorite record label!! Not just because I’m from Cali either!! Just top tier !!
  • What's so cool about SiR is that there is no artist like him. You can't compare him to anyone. His sound is his alone. 🔥 So are other TDE artists. Their sounds are hard to duplicate.
