    This is one of my most cherished songs. I remember listening to this over and over again as a young teenager on the way to and from school and to the football games I'd go to just to see my friends. I had a handful of friends that were all girls (I'm a guy), and there was something really magical about that specific period of time for me. I remember a specific moment when my mom was driving me to one of those football games, I was listening to this, and I looked out the window, and I remember wondering what life would be like in 10 years or however long. I ended up hanging out with my friends, and I started dating one of the girls I was hanging out with, and we became best friends. It was pure. That was like 12 years ago, I'm 27 now, but it was one of the most surreal and beautiful times in my life, and I had no idea how to realize that or appreciate it at the time. A couple years later my life fell apart, my parents got divorced, my dad got cancer, I got hooked on drugs (I cleaned up later), and then recently my mom passed away. It's just incredible how much can changed in ten years. I'm on the right track now. But it was a doozy. I can't believe it's been this long lol.
