A friend and I set out to catch Bridge Monsters and wound up separating for a few moments. In these short moments I found myself almost panicking being that I couldn’t find my friend. Watch and tell me what you guys think? This has to be one of MY BIGGEST FEARS!

I am blessed beyond belief and I can't thank my #family ENOUGH for all the continued support!
Thank you all! And I Love You All!

I’m a first responder in the area and we are always getting calls for lost or stranded boaters/ kayakers…more often than you’d think. We get a lot of tourists that don’t know how our water changes.

10:50 I do feel that you really care about your friend and his safety. your friend also must be proud to have such a warm-heart friend like you. bless you.

Better respect the water. Most powerful thing on earth. Be safe. Kayak fishing is so freeing and just fun. Takes the hobby to the extreme level and I'm here for it.
  • Catch em up D.We are truly blessed.Great advice. I kayak by myself 999% of the time but I'm in 3-5 ft water. I work at finding people to kayak with but I"m old and my friends are dead. I'm in an OldTown 120 Auto... Love it. Wear your vest and "know your limits is imperative. 100% with you on the trash too. Thanks D.

Bless you for cleaning up after other careless people, something I used to do when was fishing on the rivers here in the UK. I remember a bailiff complaining to me that people can carry full tins of beer to go fishing but are too lazy to carry the empty ones home. Still happens too. Tight lines Dee. Tony.

I always dress with the expectation that I might end up in the water. I only wear lightweight synthetic materials that shed water easily. No heavy jackets, rubber boots, or anything that could get waterlogged. And if the water is really cold like it gets out here on the west coast I wear a 2-3mm wetsuit under my outerwear. Luckily I have never capsized out on the water, but I'm always prepared just in case I do. You don't have to get ready if you stay ready. Stay safe out there man.
  • I was hanging on to my britches just watching. Good job being safe and not sorry. 👍
  • @Downbad1k
Your advice about kayaking gave me chills and should be taken seriously! I go out alone and have had some scary times
  • @Ray56z
It's good that both you and Doug have been showing the safety aspects of kayaking lately.
  • Dude you scared the out of me ! Fishing under that bridge 😢😢😢😢 Wow. .Be safe out there. Buddy system work , even when I hint it's best to travel with someone . Doug was laughing sorry I wasn't. Trash I don't know why people do that. Thank you from the heart , for our environment. I love cleaning up trash too , fishing line , etc. Great job . Dude . God thanks You

@VitaminDeeTV being on the water is the most peaceful thing there is in the world we live even there is no fish on the line at the end of the day. Just to be with nature and enjoying the sound of nature is the best feeling I get ever time. Bringing home a fish or two is a blessing if it happens but I mainly go to ease my mind. Great video of the open water and beautiful sun (looked like sunrise).
  • Great advice...always have a plan and someone that knows where you should be.
  • I would never go out there without a waterproof vhf radio. Keep in contact with your buddies, real time.
  • @nickmela
Thanks for the trip Vitamin D, great suggestions and also good for you picking up trash on the water. You're a good man. Keep on fishin.... Nick from Delaware shores at Lewes.
  • Great video! Most people don’t take into consideration the water conditions. It’s not just sit on and paddle; safety first!!
  • @PSSKDerby
Great video Dee! Awesome reality check about the dangers of the ocean. Always partner up. Love your spirituality. God bless.
  • Every time you go out you have the opportunity to learn something for sure. Just getting separated like that can cause you to get distracted which can cause further problems. People need to know that it's the real deal out there! You don't have to be in real deep water to find yourself in real trouble! This was a good video D! It shows people that we have to be ready for anything out there and to not only know our limits, but to heed the warnings as well! Good job Bud!

Vitamin Dee - love that you give some info on location and the conditions - not a lot of guys do that making vids these days - Thanks for the video!
  • Love your videos and especially your comment at 2:38 "...just happy and blessed to be out here!" Great attitude to have. Catching fish is a bonus. The opportunity to splash my kayak in the saltwater in Florida is truly a blessing.
