What a pain that was!
Anyway, the bees weren't the meanest but they weren't kittens either, took some stings but never needed to suit up.
Remember the removal from the Yucca plant? If you watched that video, you may recall the bees swarmed over a few doors into a neighbor's backyard onto their fig tree & I had to seek permission to enter the yard & do my thing.
Well guess what? These did the same damn thing, lol. Watch the video & see it all unfold.

Watching JP’s videos got me interested in beekeeping several years ago. I started with 2 packages of bees. Lots of splits and swarms later I have 25 hives around the area and I am a member of our local beekeeper's association. Thanks JP!

Thank you JP. I started bee keeping 5 years ago while watching you and many of your LA bee keeping YouTube friends. Your patience and respect with the bees is what I enjoy watching you. Last July I taught my daughter to take over our bee yard. I told her move slowly, respect of the bees and patience. I miss my homestead. We now live full time on a boat traveling the East Coast.
