R.C. Sproul: Creation & Providence

Published 2015-06-17
In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth, and what God creates He sustains. In other words, all things were created by God, and all things are upheld, directed, and governed by Him. Many Christians today have doubts about these biblical truths. We have been told from our youth onward, that our existence is the result of chance and time. R.C. Sproul shows how faithful Christian leaders must understand the significance of the biblical doctrines of creation and providence and teach them.

I give glory to God for using this man for his purpose. Amen. Thank you God.

The fact Dr. Sproul preaches this sermon with minimal usage of notes, is absolutely mind blowing. His comprehensive grasp of theology, philosophy, and scientific inquiry is truly rare to see in one person imo.

This is something the whole world needs to hear and know these days especially. The power of our lives is not in our own control. Our times are in His hands alone! Fear not any disease or weather, God is in control of all, the God of providence !
  • His partnership with Dr John MacArthur makes them both the most skilled teachers of God’s Word. Absolute truth !!!!!
  • When meeting Dr Sproul in Boston in person…. He was exactly as he is in all his teachings… no compromise
  • So thankful for the life of RC Sproul. I don’t know anyone who can explain predestination like he can. Even though he has passed into glory, we have the capability of listening to him anytime. I’m sure looking forward to meeting him one day & am thankful to be apart of the church he pastored in Sanford.

Amen Sproul. Without The Lord, we are nothing. May we cling unto Him forevermore. God bless you all.

Most professing Christians that I have known in 33 years since my conversion to faith in Christ alone have little to no understanding of God's Providence. This is an excellent introduction to this important Biblical doctrine. RC as always does an excellent job of explaining it clearly and easy to understand.

What a magnificent sermon - if not for Christ, nothing would exist - it would all be nothing - ‘For in him we live and move and have our being.’ As some of your own poets have said, ‘We are his offspring.’ Acts 17:28
  • I’m stoked for the day this sermon becomes fully realized by every vile atheist I’ve met
