Just an update on what I did to fix mine. I thought the transmission was done it was acting so bad but it turns out I changed all the coil packs and spark plugs I did the crankshaft and camshaft sensors and now it runs like a bat out of hell! I thought I got screwed on this truck but it turns out it's a gem!

My 2017 RAM has 252k miles and still no major issues.

AWD 5.7 hemi. 8 speed. Had similar issue. Shuttering worse in 6-7th gear. Without really getting into diagnosis, limited free time. My first guess was tranny or transfer. I pulled fuse 77, until I had time to really look at it. It worked, no shutter, running smooth. Only two wheel drive now, but seems to get better gas mileage. So maybe if y’all want to try it. Don’t think it hurts anything else.

Literally the wrong way to troubleshoot… each “diagnoses” was the most expensive and dramatic approach you could take and costly. Engine, ECU, THEN transmission?!? Shaking while accelerating or under load on these transmissions causes vibration that you feel in the pedal and sometimes could be as simple as torque converter. This hurt my heart to watch this video haha, I’m glad the problem went away.

Shuddering on passenger side shakes my glove box. It stops when I brake or step on gas. Only happens here and there. Doesn’t matter the speed. Can be coasting at 70mph and it will happen. And mainly happens when I go uphill. I’m about to go nuts! Otherwise shifts fine. I’ve changed tranny fluid, axles, cv joints you name it. I’ve changed everything but the problem. Lol

Did is shake the truck bad and the rear especially like the box? Down shifting sloppy as well?

I am having the same issue on my 12 1500 stuttering and shaking bad going up hills while under load rpms don't change at all talked to my mechanic that did my engine swap he said if it's not reving out it shouldn't be the tranny any advice is appreciated thankyou

Probably should change oil on the transmission at around 60k miles

my 2020 Ram 1500 is shaking badly. Real bad at 34-40mhp but increases when towing. Going to take it into the dealer and see what they can come up with. New tires didn't solve the problem. I'll see if my premium extended warranty is really a premium one.
