For the people that want to know the products: Shampooed with olaplex shampoo, olaplex 1 &2 mixed together(only Licensed professionals can buy this) left in for 25 min, olaplex shampooed again, olaplex conditioner, redken extreme play safe heat protectant, blow dry, flat iron, added bio silk therapy last, used edge booster for edges and hot comb, then curled hair. Took me an hour to figure this out. You’re welcome :)

Can I be honest? When I first saw the video duration...I would have been discouraged but I kept on watching. Honestly... you nailed it. As a black hair stylist, I found out what I have been doing wrong for so long when it comes to silk pressing and you just taught me patience and right products to use. Thank YOU.

When they say all life came from a black woman's DNA, I'd imagine someone just like her. She is exquisite and from what I can see, flawless. Not to mention this is some of the BEST press work I've ever seen. In almost 20 years of doing hair (disabled and retired now)... you would definitely have a place educating future stylists!! After being natural for many years (loving my natural hair), I decided to relax. I was relaxed for two years, I'm now transitioning back to natural (it's only been 3 months but this new growth is lovely)... I wish I had known about silk press two years ago, otherwise I would not have relaxed my natural hair. Lesson learned and I appreciate your video.

My first thought when I saw her natural unstraightened hair was “God, what beautiful hair!” It’s thick, luscious, and healthy. And the resulting straightening is gorgeous. The cleansing and conditioning preceding the heat is amazing. She’s in the hands of a hair guru!
