When you took the factory mic, will that mean that the mic doesn't work with the native head unit functions? Could i get a splitter for the mic to work double duty?

Do you have to connect the phone with a wire or can android auto work over bluetooth? Perhaps use the usb interface to plug in a bluetooth dongle :)

I have a front camera installed on my tacoma. Would installing this unit interfere with the front or back camera functions in any way?

Connect the OEM connector to the provided connectors, then connect all connections to the radio connectors. Got it.
