Looking through some old dvd's, I found this interview from November 2014 where Bret Hart came to the King Power stadium in Leicester to discuss his career.

  • I gotta give this interviewer a ton of credit. Never interrupts Bret as he goes into one monologue after another when telling these stories. Pure class.
  • To all the people that call Bret Hart arrogant. I’ve met mechanics, car salesman, mowers, accountants etc. that thought that they were the light of the world. At least Bret was a genius wrestler that entertained millions and is still remembered as a legend today and is a multimillionaire that can back it up

I was there! I remember Bret went over his scheduled time that evening but still stayed to sign autographs for everybody. I got him and his son Blake to sign my book for me. There was an auction among the crowd for a spot to sit next to him during the dinner. I think the winner paid something like Β£500. There was also a wrestling bout held in the room prior to Bret's interview as well. I became friends with one of them that night and we still talk today, nearly 10 years later.

I've searched YouTube endlessly for any and all Bret Hart interviews and I've watched pretty much all of them.....I can't get enough. The guy was my hero as a child with not having a good relationship with my father. I learned to be honorable, honest, responsible and respectful BECAUSE Bret. It's crazy how as I got older I realized how much effect this man had on me becoming a man. Hes so much more of the character than I could've ever imagined.
  • Best wrester ever, nothing dirty, no cheating, pure wresting. The best wresting match I ever saw was SummerSlam 92 vBritish Bulldog, what a match, again pure wrestling, no outside interferences...just a pure joy it was!!

You know the greatest thing about his stories is that you know he's telling the truth that's the most beautiful thing

It's great to hear a LONG uncut interview.

This is one of the best Brett interviews I've ever seen. Fantastic.

In the Wrestling with shadows doc, you can see what kind of genuine person Owen was, because in all the aftermath and the testosterone and wrestling crap, Owen remains silent and just goes straight to Bret's wife, puts his arm around her out of great concern and kind of walks her away. Everyone else was too wrapped up in the Bret/Vince thing. Owen was the one mature person putting himself in the shoes of what the family might be experiencing, probably wondering what HE'D have wanted if it had happened to him, that someone would come to comfort his wife in all that chaos and confusion. That always stood out to me above everything else in the aftermath of the Survivor Series.

Bret was and is one of the best in ring performers of all time. Even if people bitch, he didn't draw, which isn't entirely correct, he had some of the greatest matches of all time. Made people who couldn't work look great

Love this interview, so much stuff I'd never heard before. Bret is the absolute BEST.

I won't give spoilers. Gone off WWE in the modern era for a few reasons. For a good 10 yrs now. Saying that I remember all the Jerry Lawler stuff years later. So that's a credit to Jerry also. Anyhow...

I'm a big Darts and wrestling fan, and seeing John Gwynne (phenomenal darts and football (soccer) commentator) interviewing Bret Hart is incredible πŸ‘πŸ»πŸ‘πŸ»πŸ‘πŸ»

I was never a Bret Hart fan as a kid (I was 11yrs old when he first won the WWF/WWE Championship) but I enjoy his shoot interviews. He might get some dates and stuff mixed up sometimes (says Umm a lot) but you can always rely on Bret Hart to tell the truth
  • Just finished watching it, never thought I'd see Bret, John G and Paul Nicholson in the same room. Darts and wrestling don't usually go together.

"The Greatest there was, The Greatest there is & The Greatest there EVER will be". The Hitman Lives... thank God for that, we've lost far too many of late.πŸ™πŸ»β€πŸŒ
