Empowering Educators: Scale UDL with Teacher-Centered PD

Published 2023-05-24
Despite unprecedented access to computing devices and education technology programs, rates of high-level technology use among teachers remains stubbornly low. In this workshop, we'll delve into practical strategies for promoting meaningful technology integration among teachers, regardless of their current skill level. Learn how to enhance teachers' technology confidence and competence using research-backed professional development strategies such as hands-on, personalized instruction. We'll explore how to design discovery-based learning experiences that empower teachers with the skills, knowledge, and confidence they need to effectively utilize technology for student-centered learning.

We’re also thrilled to introduce our brand new program, Next Generation Teacher+! In collaboration with New EdTech Classroom, we’ve created a comprehensive professional learning experience that brings together our expertise in engaging onsite PD with their award-winning online courses. This is so important right now. Bringing the teachers up to the PD vs. taking the PD ‘down’ to the teachers. Right on!!
  • This is the answer to my personal frustration on environmental awareness. I am planning to use schools participating in our programmes to adopt this approach. I also like it when it does not directly say "technology" but rather how to use it to advance the goal of teaching and learning. When you talk to teachers in my country (SA) about technology, they mostly switch off and say they were born before technology
