UPDATED Beginner's Guide | RAID: Shadow Legends 2024

Raid beginners guide step 1: it's not too late. You can still walk away from this game. There are so many other games where the players are not treated like absolute crap by the devs.

Long time player here, but appreciate this non the less to build our community! One small correction - Rings are not unlocked on 4 star ascension, it's unlocked once a champion is ranked up to 4. Amulets and banners are locked behind ascensions. (viewable by yellow star vs purple on the accessories).

Great job, Ash. Watch these every year, and every year your job gets more complicated. Great resource and intro to the community, wish I'd found your content before I had 30 lvl 50's and no 60's... We live and learn, happy new year!

Ash, great video as always, it’s still amazing how u can get these videos better each time you do them! Just one thing to point out… I’m and end game player as you, so I get you on that, but those mystery shards on market are essential for new player, to get rates for Rhazin fusion, good rares like Apothecary, food for champs, and points for Champion Chase or even Summon Rush, easy 300-1000 points every tournament/event if u pick them… so those can bring a huge advantage to new players, even mid game ones, or end game in some cases, especially when people are free to play 🙏🏽

I just started RAID, but got really lucky and my cousin gave me an account he used often as an alt, it has all free preomational heroes and stuff, I had ninja and randa on mine but he said I gotchu, lol Its so awesome to see ASH of all people playing this, I used to watch this dude a decade ago when CR (Clash Royale) was so huge.

Only a few minutes in and honestly the video started from youtube auto play. That being said, I very much enjoy these types of videos. I think maybe they can come out at times other than the new year but I get that. I’ve been playing since 2019 and I love watching these every year from most CCs. Helps keeps me in the know for some of the content I might have missed and let’s me know a new players perspective as it has vastly changed. Thank you and keep up the great work.

This video would have helped me 2-plus years ago when I started playing RAID Shadow Legends. I'm still stuck on some FW stages and haven't gotten my Lydia yet.

Another fantastic guide, Ash! Great summary of everything currently available in RAID:SL and the mechanics! One helpful battle hint I'd like to share that I don't see covered: When auto-battling in any content, you can click on one of the enemies to have your team focus that one first. This is great when your team is up against a team with a champion who resurrects or a tough debuffer/unkillable buffer, so you don't have to manual the battle until that enemy champ is put down. Sending amazing New Year vibes to you and your kiddo!
