Here's Greg & Tara Erickson reacting to the scariest scenes like the ENDING (Final Scene), Little Girl Becomes Infected, Finding the key, Trapped in the Apartment. Seriously, this movie is an unrelenting, genius zombie trip! A lot of these movies are so fun when you haven't done a Trailer Reaction to them.

What's so sad is that Hollywood saw this masterpiece and thought 'we can do this better, and without nasty subtitles!'. And then blatantly didn't.
  • @HawkTeevs
This is one of the most unique takes on a zombie infection I’ve seen. The idea of it being a widespread demon possession is so interesting to me.
  • The guy dropping down the stairwell was a moment that they didn't tell the actors about, just the people who were near that part of the stairs so they could steer clear, so the reactions you hear are genuine.
  • I love this movie. The Medeiros girl is played by a male actor, in fact. Javier Botet. He is a Spanish actor who has a syndrome that makes him look very particular: he is very tall and has very long and thin arms and legs. He usually plays roles of this type in horror movies. He has appeared, for example, in movies like Mamá, Slender Man, Crimson Peak, and I think in some of the movies from the Insidious and The Conjuring saga. By the way, great reaction. You have made my day.
  • @number1fool
Definitely one of the scariest movies in recent history for sure
  • Also fun fact (if no one has mentioned it so far) but the actress that plays Angela was actually a reporter before she got into acting. Hence the quality of her performance being so realistic.
  • @wincute100
I'm happy that this movie is getting more attention lately. Hands down my favorite horror movie of all time. It's sad some people (in America) skip this because they are lazy reading subtitle, because the remake (Quarantine) can't capture the realness from the OG.
  • @jynxce
One of my favorite horror pics. This was the direction I always thought a Resident Evil movie should have went. Don't forget to watch the direct continuation of this one with REC 2.
  • @unicode3402
The realism is what sells this horror movie so well, also I like how you picked up on Angela's character arc, going from someone who wants to get a good story and a good looking shot, into someone who just wants the truth to be shown and loses the luxury of caring for aesthetics, until she's stripped down of everything and just wants to survive. I love this movie and I loved your reactions, you two really cared!
  • @AlessaParker
one of my fave horror films. I rarely get actually scared from horror films but this one actually kept me up at night because I kept imagining the thing in the end suddenly appearing and dragging me into the dark
  • @squirlywirl
I'm so glad I watched this movie when anxiety wasn't a problem for me yet because I would've HATED this now lmao. I forgot how chaotic this movie was. 😂
  • @RocketOcean18
I definitely recommend Rec 2 after this! It literally picks up right after this one and delves deeper into the lore of Rec!
  • @barbastos
Wow I can't believe you are reacting to this movie. Im from Spain and I actually lived in the same street of the building where the movie was shot in Rambla de Catalunya in Barcelona. Watching you guys react to this and appreciate the work behind this awesome movie is really cool. Fun fact: the directors wanted the film to be as realistic as possible so they decided to shoot it in chronologycal order and left the script unfinished, so for the most part of the movie the actors have no idea what's going to happend. For example the scene where the guy falls at the entrance where everyone is wasn't on the script, so their reaction is geniune.
  • Hey Greg! Being part Spaniard seeing this reaction from you guys had me over the moon! The first 2 of this series are insane! Truly a treat for those horror fans that are into the found footage genre. Loved the reaction guys! We hope you check out the sequel ❤
  • I watched this for the first time alone in my room in the dark and my god it was one of the most terrifying experiences watching a horror movie. Found footage done amazingly
  • @CassieJo
The reason the first parts of the film seem so real is that they used an ACTUAL team of firefighters for the fire station dinner scene! Also, when that firefighter fell down the center hole of the staircase, NO ONE else knew that was going to happen, so the reactions were real, too!
  • I'm Spaniard and I'm glad you watched that movie. It is one of the best movies of my country. Greetings from Spain! 🇪🇸🇪🇸🇪🇸🇪🇸🇪🇸
  • @shivinwason17
This and the second movie terrified the crap out of me as a kid. So glad y’all checked it out!
