Man that sounds good, no rasp, I put off-road x one chamber flows as resonators and one chamber flows as axel backs and it also sounds amazing, it took me a lot of exhaust to get the sound I was looking for.

I ask because I have a similar setup (Lethal O/R H-Pipe, Kooks Shorty Headers, still has resonators) but with Kooks Axle back and it drones at that RPM range (60-80MPH). I've been looking into the GT500 axle back and was hoping you could let me know about any drone you experience, if at all. -

Looking at the rest deletes, it looks like its the stock pipes with the resonators cut out? I'm planning on doing this to mine also (to replace bad fitting magnaflow over axle pipes)... my question is the way you did this.. was it done with the pipes on the car or off? Seems like it would be best done on the car to ensure proper alignment? -

A little off topic but how's the Amsoil doing for you? I run Mobil1 EP and I can hear the valvetrain like a SOB... is yours quiet?

I have a very similar setup to this with the only difference being lethal over axle pipes. It sounds good outside the car but inside the car I'm not real impressed. The metallic rasp you get out of these cars when you add the offroad pipe and delete the resonators is pretty bad. I may weld some dynomax resonators back into the system next spring to try and help with it.

how are the cold starts? loud? I live in LA and had Outlaws but my neighbors were not happy on cold starts, switched them out for MBRP street mufflers and they are too quiet. So now i'm looking for a happy medium

It shouldn't be too bad, he has mufflers. I have borla's with o/r h and no drone at all.

Not a single bit. It is like having automatic electric cut outs. 2k rpm you can't hear the car is on basically. Open it up and the thing just comes alive
