The voice of Yami Bakura sounds like Satoshi (Ash Ketchum) in Pokemon. Especially the way the character yells. In fact, it was the same voice actress in Japan. Rica Matsumoto. I only know her as the voice of the character who dreams to become a Pokemon Master, Satoshi. Satoshi was the most memorable role she has done I've ever heard in my life since childhood. She's one of the best voice actresses in Japan. Not only she can voice-act but she also can sing including the Pokemon opening songs.

If only the anime handled him better. He is introduced in a filler duel and Honda of all people outsmarts him. Dungeon Dice is a jumbled mess in the anime that cuts him out entirely. And finally after losing to Marik he just disappears for 100 episodes and is suddenly some big shot when he reappears? Excuse me? Yugi already beat him in two Duels and the only plot relevant thing he did was beat an already defeated Pegasus. Compare that to the Manga, where he is the main villain of the first arc and then a constant presence throughout the remainder of the story. He only loses 2 Duels until Millennium Wolrd and then OTKs Katsuya. I like him in the Manga. Sure, he could've been handled better, but he served his role. In the anime he always felt underwhelming and random to me. That said, his theme, that filler episode where he kills the zombie trio (despite the crappy DM anime duel writing) and his VA are all absolutely top notch.
