25:05 The "Teenagers in the early 50's" appear to be dressed as characters from the comic strip "Li'l Abner."

0:32 - she is not the child's mother but looked after it for tea and bread while the mother worked.

I always thought that Charlotte Rampling was unmistakably the most beautiful woman ever, out shining even MM. She had a smoky sultry look. Amazing. I donโt even think we saw enough of her.

Exellent an great work! I particularly loved the Los Vegas oe from 1895. Vast difference!

2:01. Looking at these women, I can hear the sound of men's hearts breaking by the thousands! Makes me wonder what men they were denying their lips to?

Both of my grandfathers worked on the Manhattan Project back in the 40โs. ๐ฎ๐ฎ๐ฎ

Very nicely done! Between the photos and music, it transports one back to a much simpler time.

Wonderful photos. It 5:53 in the dark window behind the boys of the glass factory, it looks like two creepy faces a man and a woman, peering out at them, COULD be just paradolia! Thank you!

the topic of conversation may have been the price of tea in China .. which i read was a real topic of conversation back in the day- which day i forgot.. =P Vivian Leigh's dress reminds me of the skit from the Carol Burnett show when she descends the stairs wearing curtains, rod and all, spoofing Gone with the Wind.. the shy young woman peaking thru her fingers is an adorable image. i did a little research on John Buchan's Greenmantle- it was from a whole series. when i was a kid there was a department store downtown that used pneumatic tubes to conduct sales- everytime i go to the drive thru at the bank, i think of that store. i thoroughly enjoyed the I Love Lucy Show! my maternal gramma bore a slight resemblance to Lucille Ball, both in a appearance and character/demeanor! I've got a picture of her, feet away from where I'm sitting- she's standing next to a puddle out in the country , holding a stringer of fish..on her nose is a knitted nose warmer with a tassel hanging off the end of it! she's wearing wide legged polyester pants with a big collared blouse and jacket over top! yep it was the 60's!

Then picture of the women at the end was also an ad/slogan for prohibition. Love this channel! Great pictures!

Alcohol sign, I grew up in an alcoholic family and myself have been an alcoholic, it really is a horrible drug, not for everyone but for some it brings out the very worse in behavior.
