It's pretty amazing how interconnected this world is without having to backtrack and at the same time feeling natural. I had a "We're back here? How? Cool!" moment when you exited that elevator even after you said where you were.

The gargoyles took me... I don't even want to count how many tries. It was an interesting series of events; I ended up cutting off one of their tails and getting the Axe. At some point, because it took so many tries, my Soul count I was leaving at the boss fight was really high. ...so I took an attempt to retrieve them, Homeward Bone'd back to the blacksmith, forged the Gargoyle Tail Axe all the way to +4, and a few tries later, they went down. That axe is still my main weapon, and will be until any other weapon can prove itself a worthy successor.

The fire breath is really the worst part . Lots of players will never find the blacksmith either and won't have an upgraded weapon. I find most NPC Summons don't really help you. Most won't do enough damage to make up for the extra HP the boss gets. But what they can do is be an amazing distraction to the boss so you can sneak your hits in. Looks like you were a bit too over confident . Biggest trap in this game is getting to the point of feeling its too easy then you get wrecked. The Helm is so cool. I think I wore it the whole time in my first play through lol Everyone Subscribe and be sure to click the bell of awakening to be notified !!
  • Yet again this game looks so appealing to me and makes me want to go play it. There isn't much quite like Dark Souls.
