They need a desert clan. It would be cool to see a clan similar to Egypt or the Pueblo people.

Bro when she said Turak Maktu instead of Toruk Makto killed me
  • If you really think about it, Avatar is really just Warrior Cats: Into The Wild.
Jake represents Rusty, an outsider becoming a warrior.
Neytri resembles SandStorm, starts out aggressive, but ends up loving the 'outsider.'
and Colonel resembles TigerStar, wanting to take over.
So yeah, if you think about it deeply, its really the "Warrior Cats Movie" we've been waiting for.

They need a mountain snow clan that would be so badass
  • It'd be interesting if there was an actual desert clan. And unlike everyone of other clans, they have no flora that allows them to link up to the Eywah neural network and so have slowly been embracing technology and eventually side with the Humans. It seems as though across the whole planet, the Na'vi are able to stay in contact with the other tribes either by neural-linking with megaflora or by hopping on a mountain banshee. But in a massive, dessert environment, there may not be either of those for thousands of miles.

Edit: I originally said fauna when I meant flora.

P.S. I mention this because it would make the Na'vi more 3-dimensional because like irl, some indigenous peoples due to there circumstances and environment do ultimately adopt western technologies and lifestyles. And they'd also be a possible middleman to negotiate a peace with humans.

I'd love to see clans from milder and colder, wetter climates like an equivalent to Western and Central Europe and North America but also to the extremely cold regions near the Pole circle, just to see which cultures they'd be based on, what they look like and how they'd be dressed (cause all Na'vi we've seen thus far show a lot of skin).
  • Omaticaya- Om Ati kaya ( big sized people)
Metkayina- Matsyakanya ( mermaid or water area dwellers)
    Tayrangi- Taranga ( waves)
These are all taken from Sanskrit word. Even Amrita which means nectar in Hindu shastra deals with Amaratwa or anti aging.
Avatar itself is a sanskrit word which means manifestation of Hindu Gods in Human or Animal forms.
  • It’s already surprising that avatar has a sequel and hinted at a 3rd, but 5 avatar movies? Never would have guessed, but I’m certainly not complaining about it.
  • The Olangi Clan are highly based on the Native Americans of the Great Plains like the Comanche, Lakota, Arapaho, Cheyenne, Pawnee, etc while the Omaticaya are more like the natives of Mesoamerica, Amazon Rainforest , Native North American Woodland Tribes like Iroquois, Wyandot or Cherokee ( mainly because of their hairstyles ) . On the other hand, it is pretty obvious that the Metkayina are based on Polynesians like the Maori or Native Hawaiians . Lastly, I do highly believe that the Tayrangi are based on Pacific Northwest Native Americans like Tlingit, Chinook and Tsimshian.

I'd love to see a clan inspired by the Sami!! Imagine Navis living in an icy, snowy landscape where in the winter the sun barely shines
  • @julianray5240
The navi cannot be aliens because they have a bond with all life on the planet and from watching avatar 2; the way of water, it’s implied that all beings of life and the planet itself is tied together through eywa.
  • @suicufnoc1306
honestly I feel like there will be more clans upcoming as there is so many clans in the jungles so there are probably more in highlands, waters or even other biomes
  • @jokester117
Would be interesting if Quaritch grows to love Pandora and joins Volcanic tribe to fight both Jake and humans.
  • @qKagura
I’d like to see like literal differences between the clans. Like the differences between the forest and water na’vis. (Hands, tails etc)
  • I love how Tonowari is played by a New Zealand actor. Cliff Curtis as an amazing actor!
  • @nishatlala3990
I’d love to see desert clan and ice clan. Would be interesting to see how na’vi in areas with little to no flora and fauna interact with their environment and what cultures they’ve developed.
  • @hampdog5716
Pandora already has more ecosystems on it than a single Star Wars Planet lol
  • @Dieselman432
It seems like they’re going stay with tropical clans but I sure thought there was going to be mountainous, deciduous, and desert regions with different body types, hair, and culture
