    - I just want to let anyone who’s reading this comment to know; Awakening is not changing who you are, but discarding who you are not ✨

I've read it three times. Did the Workbook and The Teacher's Manual. It literally saved my life.
  • ACIM has changed everything "in my life" for the best. All thanks to you for introducing it to me Eckhart!
  • I love that you have added a Course in Miracles to your subject matter. That is one amazing book.

When they said she was going crazy, she was awakening. When they said that she was isolating, she was healing. When they said she was acting funny, she was growing. When they said that she had changed, she was evolving. When they said she did not care anymore, she finally realized that her peace lives within. When they said she was becoming distant, she was learning to trust herself. When they said she was losing touch, she was finding her inner voice. When they said she was being stubborn, she was asserting her boundaries. When they said she was aloof, she was finding solitude and serenity.  When they said she was being unrealistic, she was dreaming bigger.

"It cannot be defined. It is not something the intellect can conceptualize effectively. It seems mysterious because you cannot control it, you cannot define it and you cannot put it into a simple explanation. Some people are afraid of Knowledge for this reason. They feel it is unpredictable, and they cannot be in control of it, and so it frightens them. They are afraid to be guided by something that they do not fully understand. That is because the intellect wants to be the ruler of their life. It wants to use Spirit as a resource. It wants to feel in control. It wants to be in charge. This, of course, is all born of a fundamental confusion, the confusion that is the result of living in Separation." ~ Going Beneath the Surface of the Mind ~ by Marshall Vian Summers.
  • "Simply do this: Be still and lay aside all thoughts of what you are and what God is, all concepts you have learnt about the world, and all images you hold about yourself." Thanks.
  • ACIM is my spirit guide. Absolutely love it. If you haven’t read it you definitely should. It has transformed my life and the way I interact with the world ❤️

I study it since 2013, in the beggining it was confusing and very difficult to reconcile my everyday life with what it was teaching, but today I just love to practice the daily lessons, I learned that Truth can be present regardless of what seems to be going on in our lives. When I started studying I was also afraid of my future, not having money or something like that, since I was embracing the idea that nothing existed and so on, but guess what, I'm a fierce student of the Course and I have an excellent job :D In other words, we are innocent children of God, we don't need to be afraid of punishment, that's purely a mind concept being played in an inexistent world.

"Sometimes we get a lot further in our art and in our lives when we let ourselves do a little of what comes easily and naturally. If you like to draw horses, stop drawing chairs. If you would love to take ballet, do it and let modern jazz be someone else’s winter sport. If you have a deep love for Broadway, tell Chopin you’ll be back. Painting your kitchen is creative. Putting bells on your kid’s school shoes is creative. Restructuring the office is creative. Getting the bad stuff tossed from the closet is creative." - Julia Cameron Create a new ritual. Try something creative today out of sheer enjoyment and post about it here.

I had the book for years and couldn't get through it in any meaningful way, until I kept getting drawn to it and sat down again to try. After 20 years of having the book just kicking around. Then I got it, and good. The most significant thing I go from it and which I really needed to know, was that our mind is not only NOT who we are, but it is largely insane without intentional awareness that our mind has that tendency if you're not consciously cultivating it. If you're letting your mind run itself willy nilly, you're being led around by something that has no real existence. And that's why life can be not only difficult, but can seem meaningless. We're not meant to live by the mind.
