Game Description ⮟
Welcome to UNDERTALE. In this RPG, you control a human who falls underground into the world of monsters. Now you must find your way out... or stay trapped forever.

((Healthy Dog's Warning: Game contains imagery that may be harmful to players with photosensitive epilepsy or similar condition.))
features:
Killing is unnecessary: negotiate out of danger using the unique battle system.
Time your attacks for extra damage, then dodge enemy attacks in a style reminiscent of top-down shooters.
Original art and soundtrack brimming with personality.
Soulful, character-rich story with an emphasis on humor.
Created mostly by one person.
Become friends with all of the bosses!
At least 5 dogs.
You can date a skeleton.
Hmmm... now there are 6 dogs...?
Maybe you won't want to date the skeleton.
I thought I found a 7th dog, but it was actually just the 3rd dog.
If you play this game, can you count the dogs for me...? I'm not good at it.

Alright guys, blind playthroughs of Undertale are extremely rare now, so remember the rules! 1) Absolutely no spoilers, even if it's just an advice about something that happens later 2) Do not force her to go a specific route and don't yell in the comments if she doesn't get your desired route first try 3) Let her figure things out on her own, don't be a helicopter like Toriel

Peopleeeee, this may be the last of its kind, A BLIND PLAYTHROUGH OF UNDERTALE! ENJOY IT WHILE IT LASTS AND SAY NOTHING!
  • @rlowellm
“This music implies danger, but nothing is happening” Well, the song is called ‘unnecessary tension’
  • I haven't seen a blind playthrough of Undertale since 2015. No spoilers, no backseating, maybe a few tips, don't get pissed if she goes neutral, don't get pissed if she pronounces names wrong.
  • @StitchedStuff
the counselor: "i`d like to level up" everyone *starts to sweat nerviously*

A blind Undertale playthrough in 2022? This is truly an astounding find.
  • @FrankiKaye
Just a note, checking in the act menu gives insight into the monsters' personality and mindset, and knowing them better gives a more fulfilling experience, in my opinion
  • "I share my LOVE through bullets??" Yes, actually. Welcome to Undertale
  • Some info without any spoilers, Toriel uses she/her pronouns, Flowey goes by he/him and Napstablook uses they/them :)
  • Fun fact: Toby fox the creator of this game, actually helped make Omori! You'll see in the ending credits that Toby fox is included.
  • Can’t say I blame you for the trust issues with cute pixelated games haha!
  • @nyananath
I love how much sense Toriel's helicopter parenting makes after knowing the whole story
  • @jay-virm
I find it so genius how FIGHT is the first option, meaning how if you're not paying attention, you can attack without thinking. Something that a lot of other games would encourage.
  • @vincere4591
I love how the first thing you encounter after the… friendly Flowey is the caring Toriel, and your first thought is “Well should I trust you now?” Unrelatedly, what Flowey said- avoiding spoilers best I can, what he said about nobody letting an opportunity like that pass. It’s like Omori and how certain things said make more sense after the second route. Keep that in mind.

In Toriel's defense, I tend to think "haha aren't you funny, that's a great joke you obviously do not mean seriously, because I am an adult and you are a child" and then immediately pretending it never happened is about the best way an authority figure can deal with that uncomfortable situation when it comes up. Like, if they're serious, you don't want to shame them for their feelings so you want to try to avoid embarrassing them. But you want to make absolutely clear that you are an adult and they are a child, absolutely not and they are too good to be dealing with any adult who remotely entertains the notion with a child their age, just in case that's the kind of behaviour from adults they're used to. The problem's not you, kid, it's the grownups putting that on you. But I am not that kind of grown-up. Absolutely not. I am a good Undertale fan so I will not spoil (and by now you've probably finished at least one run anyway) but even from the start screen it's highly implied people don't fall down that hole by accident, and they're not happy when they decide to do it. Think about the kinds of kids Toriel must have met before, with that criteria in mind. It justifies a lot of her behaviour, though certainly not all of it and you're asking the right kinds of questions. She can't know how much autonomy you're used to, how much violence you expect from people, how much education you have. All she knows is you're a small child, alone, who would rather fall down a hole nobody returns from than stay where you were at. It says volumes. I'm so excited youtube decided to send me to your channel again. A blind Undertale run in 2022, gosh.

Fear not (too much) for the bullet hell. The game starts off easy so you can get slowly better at it. Yes, it may get difficult later, but the progression is designed in such a way that even my little siblings, who had zero gaming experience prior, could play through the game. Just enjoy it at your own pace :D
  • @epsilon017
Definitely be cautious about reading your comment sections. If you hadn't heard already, this is a game that's best played while knowing as little about it as possible. I'm looking forward to seeing more of your reactions to this game. It's always interesting hearing your perspective on things.
  • @pokono3764
you're gonna LOVE this game, and we're gonna love watching you play it
  • @iymimi
I never played this game so I am very interested to see a blind playthrough of this with her. I am excited
  • Ahhhh, Undertale. One of the best things to come out of 2015. This game is absolutely fantastic, strange at times, but endearing all the same. Note: This game has been notorious for people trying to spoil the story or trying to push people to play a certain way. Please play however you want to enjoy the experience to it's fullest! You can fight any and everyone if you want or you can spare any and everyone if you want, it's completely up to you! Also, yes, the small bullet hell window will be getting harder and harder and you will have to dodge regardless of if you choose to fight or not lol. I cannot wait to see what you pick up from this series as it continues and how you feel about this fun indie game from a few years back. (Also yes, Toriel reminds me very much of helicopter parent lol) Enjoy! ^^
