How on earth has adobe not simply created the ability to crop with shapes and add borders in two clicks instead of a nine minute video tutorial? It’s absolutely maddening that they haven’t done something so useful and simple.

On my current project, there's a somewhat complicated cropping effect I am going for which I've been dreading having to deal with, but I just reached the point where I HAVE to figure it out today in order to proceed. You are a life saver, man. I have many projects in which I will need this effect a lot. I did my first in after effects. I had to create a shape layer then mask the footage as an inverted alpha matte then precompose all of them and add a drop shadow. After watching your video now I can do it all in a few minutes. Thanks a lot.

Good day, @JavierMercedes You taught me the Circle Crop Video trick last year. Since then, I've used the identical masking techniques you demonstrated in this video, but now I came across another method for making rounded corners that is incredibly simple compared to what I'm currently doing. , many thanks for your content
