I didn’t know I was me when I was a stripper. I allowed the enemy to hide what god had inside of me, but my god knew me . God is so faithful and loving. Thank you god for not throwing in the towel on your child. 😭🙏🏽

My whole life I tried to fit In with friends and family. And it didn't work, but God always told me as a child through my dad that I should write a book. I'm now a first time author and I'm working on my second book as we speak. I never fit in with church crowds but I have following This ministry since 2009 and I have been blessed. Thank you, Abba father for I am a child of yours and I'm a single mother who's an author.

I didn't know I was me when I was on drugs! The enemy had me right where he needed me. I'm sober and I have been under attack! By the Grace of God I'm still standing. I will beat these tests!!! Hallelujah!!! 🙌🏾🙏🏾

I took a solo trip to The Potter’s House. This was the sermon when I visited, and God continues to remind me “I Was Me” years later😇.

Still my all-time favorite sermon of Bishop's. (My second favorite is Bishop's sit-down with Pastor Furtick at Elevation: "Sometimes God uses His hand, and sometimes he uses yours." Pure gold.) If you're reading this and going through a dark valley, humble yourself and pray. No matter what you've done, God will make your paths straight, even if the rest of the world doesn't understand (or like) your changes. It won't take away the consequences of your disobedience, but it will bring purpose to the pain of the mistakes you've made and lead you to a new day of redemption. God doesn't live in the box of modern American culture; God is bigger than our ego, our bias, and our misinterpretations.

This message is still blessing 🙌 I found this message at a very low point in my life. I'm in a relationship and begging to be love because I didn't know I was me...my feelings have deceived me, because they are associated with my pass not where God predestined me to be. Today I received my breakthrough I have cried all day because satan still wants me to be stuck. Today is my last day with my head in the winepress. Thank you God for aluminateing the work and put me through my pain to get my attention because I would not listen. God I'm not afraid anymore of who you want me to become. 12/31/2020 on my knees in Houston TX and God sent this message to me. Thank you God for loving me for revealing yourself to me!

This sermon touched me in ways I can’t even explain. It’s my prayer that who ever listens to this, their lives be transformed.

I’ve never fit in anywhere. At 51 years old, I’ve finally accepted that I have arrived at WHO God predestined me too become and I’m still becoming! I’m an authoress, motivational and creative speaker, and entrepreneur! I’m ready to stop hiding EVERYTHING that God has blessed me with for the world. My God this message was for me. To God be the glory!

It’s ok to praise Him for expectations, but also praise Him just for being GOD... without miracles I’ll still praise you Lord.

Of all of the TD Jake's sermons this one I have repeated over and over. There are so many messages in this sermon you can't even pin point them all. All my life I've been different, even the different one in my family. But it was because "I didn't know, I was me"!

I was down and out, and the words that I received from Td Jakes lifted me up. It came from God gave me hope gave me strength, gave me the power not to quit. I thank Jesus every single day. I’m grateful for my life. I’m grateful for Jesus Jesus is the reason, the word is powerful the word gives life! 🙏🏽
