Star Citizen is an open development, crowd funded project from Cloud Imperium. Consisting of 2 games, Squadron 42 a single player, story driven campaign putting you in the middle of the Vanduul attacks as an up and coming UEE Navy pilot, and Star Citizen, a highly detailed
first person MMO set within a persistent universe where there are no limits. This includes, space, and ground aspects, massive spaceships with full interiors and interactions, a full dynamic economy which reacts to the players actions allowing for anything you can imagine.
It is all being built on the StarEngine (a modified version of Amazon's Lumberyard Engine).
Please bare in mind that this is heavily WIP and in an alpha state in which much of the foundational tech to make it a reality is still being developed. Both games do not have set release dates yet but you can play the alpha build for the PU MMO which makes consistent progress
with quarterly patch releases throughout the year.

I am an independent content creator and a fan of the game, I am not paid by Cloud Imperium however I do accept ships from them to giveaway to my community but this will by no means influence my opinion or what I say and believe about the project.

  • My favorite moments involve stumbling across some prior player's misadventures, trying to reconstruct what happened and tractor up any loot before the next guy with a meaner attitude and a bigger ship comes along.

When players are trying to murder me, hostile settlements and outposts trying to down me, the environment trying to snag and trap me, my ship attempting to sabotage me and the game itself trying to eject me, I mostly enjoy trying to stay alive! Your off-the-grid adventures are very enjoyable. o7

I love meeting randoms in bunkers and helping them out. Go off on an adventure together, and wave goodbye somewhere down the road. Good times.

4:50 - Something I'd really like to see added to the game is a merchant mechanic where you can, say, rent a shop in a city or space station to sell items, or have a special crate with a trade terminal on it you can put items in you wish to sell, which you can then put in the cargo bay of your ship.
  • @Mikalos
I love meeting people and doing runs together, whether it be doing reclaimer runs or exploring their ships. Ive played about 50 hours

I love roaming around and try to investigate those organic sights, not too long ago i came accross a destroyed C2 around Yela the pilot in a full white zeus suit was still floating inside the wreck along with a few scu's of some kind of cargo. then i like making theories: "ok C2 destroyed in a asteroid field around yela. so he mustve run from something otherwise he woulda been more careeful in the asteroid belt". the zeus suit maybe that was his everyday outfit OR: was he far enough away from his pursuers and tried to ditch the ship? no one knows since there was no black box to be found...
  • Exploring is pretty fun lately. Love fast flying at low altitude through canyons as well.
  • @BuckBrah
I like cruising low and slow in my trusty corsair exploring by myself or with a buddy. Mostly just enjoying the atmosphere and treating it like a little Sunday drive. I like finding little clearings or geographic spots to chill and walk around, exploring everything a little closer up. This off the grid series is perfect.

I love this. My favorite part of SC is exploration and doing an off-grid seems like a blast.

I enjoy salvage, ROC mining, and bunker missions. For someone with limited play time, I think your off the grid play is perfect. I feel like I can do that and build in some of my other game play, making the game more enjoyable. Keep bringing the videos. They are great.
  • @allang205
My favorite thing is doing box delivery(when they work) and investigation missions, they are great for starter loot and know different places around the system; also living off the grid in my Corsair doing some ROC mining.
  • @BlackRaven446
I’m quite new in the game i just bought my first starter pack after saving money for it, but so far i love exploring the planets so much just fly around to some container missions or trade to earn some extra to refuel my ship to continue enjoying exploring! 😊
  • @Evernoth
By far what i most enjoy doing on star citizen, it's the immersive experience of flying through space with a hotas, starting a journey of exploration, checking everything, turning on the power, calling the landing services to open the gate, and leaving the station, by far my favorite part of the game it's the simulation aspect and the exploration, whish i had one of these SC sim desks
  • @TheMNWolf
Lately my favorite thing to do is logistics. I have an M2 that has a bunch of spaced out 2 SEU boxes that kind of work like footlockers. Each one contains a full kit of gear, so you walk up to it in your skivvies and you have everything you need to equip for whatever mission you feel like running. Figuring out how to put that stuff together and sourcing all of the components is a really zen experience.
  • @rayfighter
Hey Mac, what I enjoy doing in PU 3.21 and 22 right now is (after doing Salvages with friends, and some cargo hauling in C2) taking the Carrack every session, and treating it as my home. I've got the Vulture or Hornet Ghost for aUEC already, and still got 30M+ aUEC left, so I am just enjoying the Stanton system, visiting villages, space stations, sometimes logging off at the station, sometimes in a bed in Carrack. I do always repair and refuel her, never claim. There is the Pisces exploration on board, in matching red color, Mirai Fury next to her, URSA and ROC in a garage, and all the armor sets, weapons, ammo, and utilities I might need. This way I can take any mission including the sos beacons from NPCs, investigations, mercenaries on my ways, when I see some ROC rocks, I land and mine them, when the ROC is nearly full, I head to a nearest mining outpost and as I sell the ROC stones, I also buy some commodities into Carrack's cargo.... It probably should not be this easy to keep afloat financially in a finished game, especially flying such a big ship mostly alone (friends sometimes jump in, sometimes I answer some request on local chat), but it is an awesome chill after the work day. :) Huge fan of your off-grid and zero2hero series 🤘
  • @Qwarzz
My favorite thing to do in SC is medical beacons. People get in trouble in quite varied circumstances. The usual place for a beacon of course is a bunker and those can be quite fun trying to not get in trouble yourself (as you may not really have a permission to go there in the first place). One of the stranger ones was saving someone from outside hangar doors at Port Tressler. Don't know why he was there and managed to knock himself out but needed some planning to make it so we could also get out of there.

I like the variety of gameplay the game offers, changing occupation when I feel it. Lately I enjoyed clearing enemy bunkers (now that the elevator problem has been fixed) with my Nomad and Cyclone, landing at safe distance from the turrets, boarding my cyclone to get to the bunker, clearing it and picking some loot, putting it in the bucket of the cyclone and back to my ship enjoying the view. Interested also by ROC mining, caves exploration, salvage and always on the lookout for rescue missions to help other players. Thanks for your videos!
  • @HillyBilly.
I just love playing star citizen with friends, exploring and manning turrets on bigger ships than I own! Thanks for this type of content, keep up the great work!
  • I’ve been living off-grid a fair bit in the last few months. Mainly I love taking incredible screenshots and I plan to put them up as a slideshow on YouTube. I also occasionally leave sought after gear or fluffy toys here and there for other players to find. Great video as always 🎉
  • @rednasho
What I love to do most is setting up expeditionary groups. For example planning a trading convoy or doing a salvage scouting mission followed by reclaimers and vultures. It’s multicrew that I love and play this game for, it’s the element that keeps me so invested.
