Fun fact about the womens soccer team being "paid less," they were actually getting paid significantly more. Their original contract terms negotiations with whatever their players union rejected the lump sum agreement (that was higher than men's in the US) in favor of a benefits oriented package with medical, PTO, and maternity leave. They then did a huge campaign about how they were paid less as their contract was coming up for negotiation to apply pressure to the organization. It was actually really tucking clever

What makes Bill Burr so great like Chappelle they both were speaking about these things when it was very, very unpopular. The courage they showed help change the culture and I appreciate them both for everything they do.

As a woman i totally fucking see it, while i don't care for sport or the kardashians, my mother eats up real housewives almost everyday of the week. In regards to women sports, a lot of this stuff is being fed to kids in school, I remember having a lesson in primary school of all places (elementary school) where the topic of women's pay gaps was discussed amongst the class and women football players vs men football players wages was one of the primary example. Obviously all the 8 year olds came to the conclusion that it's not fair for women to do the same job as men but get paid less, myself included but as soon as you look at the problem with a more mature eye, the answer is so obvious. A lot of women who bitch about women's football pay either don't understand how little traction the sport actually has, or refuse to acknowledge it in order to protect their deluded beliefs of the patriarchy. For reference, I'm 19 years old and was stuck in the UK education system from ages 4-16, I have sat through countless of "PSA's" which i now look back on as inappropriate, ranging from teachers perpetuating and confirming the "patriarchy", discussing toxic masculinity, summing up complicated history to "white man bad" and "england bad" and even "america bad". I never fell for any of that garbage, many didn't bite, most didn't care, but the ones that do bite go onto become some of the most irritating people to be around, turning everything into a political matter.

Watching Asmons chat EXPLODE when Bill said "If you could support the WNBA like you support a fat chick whose proud of her body and no longer a threat to you" was almost as great as this part of Bills special

There was a great story on the Australian version of "The View" where the pay gap in women's soccer came up, and the one guy on the show, said it was because no one goes to the games or buys their merchandise. The women all started reaming him, and he simply asked "Name one female soccer player who plays for Australia?" "Name one?" All just blank faces. He then went on to name over half the team... Every woman who makes this point has never watched a game of female sport in their lives it seems.

I didn't even know that the WNBA has been going for more than 2 decades now. I thought it only started in like 2018.

I'm a woman and honestly, I'm not even offended. It's true. It's fvcking true. I dont watch Kardashians cuz I hate that type of shit show and I don't watch sports cuz im not into it. I'm into fantasy, Sci fi, thriller, adventure and action movies/series. But sadly most of the women that watches this type of shit show exist way more than me .. This dude is so right ✅️

As much as people want to believe that this is comedy, it's probably close to the uncomfortable truth that most people don't want to hear. If you want to be funny, tell the truth.

Gotta say that the WPHL has a great product. They skate fast, hit, forechecking is good. And you can watch it all for now on YouTube. They even condense the games and upload those too. There’re only 6 teams so you get lots of rematches and get to know all of the players.
