For a time, this song was everywhere. Then it was nowhere. For years, its existence remained forgotten. Then, last year, I heard it being played in a petrol station. It was like part of my brain was being unlocked.

May ‘24 Love this 💗 over 50, widowed last year, this track brings happy memories of fantastic parties with family and friends. Life is short… Never stop dancing folks 🕺🙂💗

The song was released 2001. I was looking for this song for 19 years. Finali I found it. 😁 😁
  • couldn't remember the song name or artist so i typed 'music video with potatoes' , First result

I've always classed this genre as Funky Disco or Funky House. Whatever it comes under, it was great. 'Lolas theme', 'Lady' (here me tonight), 'Music sounds better with you', 'Sing it back', 'Movin' too fast', 'Don't call me baby' plus anything by Daft Punk. All top notch.
  • You have no idea how hard and how much effort I've put into finding this. I feel like I unlocked something amazing. So blooming happy 😊

Therapist: “ I think you get over emotional at things that don’t matter” Me: “but they left the potato man all alone!!”

The French made some amazing EDM in the late 90's early 00s.

Probably my favorite dance song of all time. I had it on repeat playing upstairs whilst I was building my first ever proper PC at 18. The nostalgia never ends!

The morning my daughter was born I left the maternity ward and this came on as I started my car, it was a cold crisp sunny morning and will be forever one of my finest ever memories!
  • My father passed away in suddenly in 2006. I remember as a child me, my sister and dad all dancing to this song and pretending to be the characters in the video. This song/video always brings back beautiful memories for me :)

Please future generations don’t let this song die. Such a great tune brings back bare memories
  • @thefilmseeker
This music video disturbed the fuck out of me as a kid.
  • I still get hit with shivers all the way through the first chorus everytime, this truly is a masterpiece!
