Imagine having a persistent town-wide game that was this cool when you were a kid lol. Playing outside would've been S-tier.

I like how the battle system is compared to Final Fantasy when Paper Mario exists with its action inputs for attacks and defending.

The thing that pissed me off about the censored bits was that it means we didnt get the tutorial for the abortion bit, so when we got to the bomb at the end it was super easy to fail as you had no practice, and if you fail you die and have to reload which was really slow on consoles when it first released.

The runs for this game are very fun (if you ignore the 6 minute cutscene at the end of the run which is admittedly aggravating), so if anyone is interested I would recommend trying it out. Each class has any% routed out (fairly uniquely as well) both with and without the two main glitches shown (Bard Skip and Slave Skip). I personally have not done much on the unpatched versions with these skips but the runs without them are well documented so learning is hopefully not a chore (I made the route for Jew and Fighter classes so there is without a doubt room for improvement, but I am happy with how it turned out). Thanks to EZScape for showcasing this run, hope it was an enjoyable experience.

SoT is such a fantastic speedgame. All input the whole way. I might get back into it once I can find some time, I miss having records in this game.

The game is so fun. It’s like I’m in the show able to make my own episode everytime I log In. Fractured butthole is awesome too. I really hope they’re In the process of a new title for this series as it’s beloved by me and I’m sure many.

I hope they make a 3rd game in this style. Enjoyed the first two.

I love how this game mixed the mario and luigi rpg series mechanics and final fantasy mechanics to make it work well. I liked how the second game changed some things to make it feel new and interesting too, both games in my opinion were great in their own aspects!

I've played through this game casually and the "booster seat" joke in the abortion clinic is one of the funniest things I have ever seen in any Southpark media just because of how "wrong" it was. If that got censored out of the Australian version it's a shame.

One thing that wasn't explained super clear is the plus melee patches or why the ignore armor ones for the weapon matter. Abilities have a weird mechanic or possibly bug where secondary effects for whichever weapon you have out directly affects the ability. You can more visually see this in Jew speedruns where we use bouncy ranged weapons to give the sling of david several more bounces than it would normally have. Here, the plus melee gives direct damage to each of the 6 ticks of dragon's breath as well as the ignore armor, though in the late game the plus melee gets power crept for percent damage and a ton of ignore armor.

I like how you go through the story with a neutral voice, like everything that happens is normal. The government acting like there is a new Taco Bell being built, your parents having sex while you are watching them, the zombies. Completely normal phenomenon.

EZScape Speedruns more and more becoming a channel for tomatoanus type and level content is amazing! Love every upload.
