It takes a strong woman to play a part of a battered partner, she did an amazing job...it would interesting to learn more about the research she did because the story line was very accurate....this is a great learning tool movie for all woman as there was so many messages in the story line, the most important is regardless of whether you love him its not acceptable being his punching bag & your own self worth & preservation is more important..great movie

Great movie, great writing, great acting as well. Ladies, if your in any domestic violent relationship. And your wanting to leave.... 1) Don't tell them your leaving just leave please. 2) Once you do leave, don't go and meet with them anywhere. They will cause you great harm, or just kill you altogether. Leave and don't ever look back again

Great movie and awesome actors. Dolly is so multi talented. This story has a lot of triggers,but Dolly delivers the message with class and dignity..its a difficult life to live but noone deserves to be abused, physical,mental,emotionally,or financially. It broke my heart to see her with all the cuts and bruises. It had to be difficult for her to play this part,it would for any woman.

The gorgeous Dolly, the country & Western folklorist ( grandiose singer) I grow up listening to her on the radio. Copying her voice. That was my joy.. thou seeing her on TV, she was always trying her best to make everyone happy. I like that in her. After long, my mother used to caught me, singing "my coat of many colours"one day, oh may she rest in peace, she phoned me, abroad to sang me that song, while she listened to it on the 📻 . Great memories 💞❤️💞N even thou in my early 50's I rarely listen to her, but she's always my favourite. Keep it up darling, U R D best.❤
