For many, the best years of trance are behind us. There was a time when the quality of the melodies and vocals was astonishing, when you would actually feel in trance and where the artist main concern wasn't to produce as much as possible, giving up on the real essence of this music and spoiling it with cheesiness. Here is a tribute to the Golden Age of Trance.

I'm 44, I was there in the fields, the middle of nowhere (often on ecstasy tbh) no mobile phones in sight, it was a beautiful time.

Brings back crazy memories of living in Manhattan Beach, CA and going to clubs in Hollywood. Wild, Very Crazy Times. Great times. I'm glad I lived to tell about them. Glad it's over....LOL

Played this at a friends wedding/afterparty on the beach on my little JBL extreme that was a marvel of technology only a few years ago. People came up to me afterwards before the party ended and were thanking me. ALWAYS come back to the Golden age.

Amazing mix. I like the classic era the best (1995-2003) but the period between 2007-2011 when most of these tunes were released has a big spot in my heart as this era helped me through an incredibly difficult period in my life. Trance saves lives. I'm a living proof.

I wish my early 20s had been spent raving in trance clubs instead of sitting in my parent's basement playing computer games.. I feel I really missed out not experiencing this epic era of trance at the prime age.
