“Fuck you all this is the last song of the evening.” Love that energy.
-
The look he gives as he prepares that last breath always gives me chills
-
30 years gone in a blink of an eye.
-
30 years ago... We will never forget you, bro. Your music will forever be immortal, just like your spirit.
-
Kurt joking about the guitar and then his becoming the most expensive guitar ever sold at auction ❤
-
"Leadbelly's guitar for 500,000 dollars" Kurt, your guitar sold for a record 6 million dollars. You never know kurt. We miss you.
-
Kurt was the kind of person who could be surrounded by a hundred thousand people who loved him, and still feel all alone.
-
the screaming part is art in its purest state

I was in the 3rd row with my uncle, we never knew at the moment how legendary this concert was going to be oh, we just thought it was going to be another rock concert, to this day we both consider ourselves two of the luckiest people considering what happened. I tell you one thing you think Kurt's voice on video or CD is moving, seeing him sing this live, is one thing I will never forget still gives me chills.... Kurt, we miss you brother, I hope you found peace.. thank you for the music that you left us in a short time, Nirvana will never die....
-
His swan song, and he knew it. The rest of us didn't unfortunately. It still hurts. The unplugged shows gave us some all time memorable performances, this is the best one... but it makes you wish things weren't so terrible like they are now.

I’m 27 years old I’ve been suffering from all sorts of depression insomnia lack of eating to the point I’ve lost over 30 pounds. I was in a very abusive relationship and got my daughter taken away from me. I feel my world has collapsed and I felt like ending it all. I’ve been listening to Nirvana nonstop and I can’t tell you how much this music makes me feel better. Thank you Kurt! R.I.P

I read somewhere Kurt was disappointed at the end or during this performance because of the crowds reaction and he had to be told that they were literally awe struck and couldn't fathom what they had just witnessed and how people viewed him as this mythic figure even during his lifetime so they didn't know how to react while seeing him in person playing, especially up close like the audience in this performance was, and kurt replied "I was pretty good wasn't I?" One of the few times he actually acknowledged his talent from what I've read.

I love that Kurt's sitting on an office chair.
-
You can see the genuine pain in his eyes. Incredibly authentic and powerful performance. His voice was 1 in a billion
-
Kurt seemed like a sensitive soul. I hope he is at peace. 🥀
-
I hate screaming vocals. But When he screams it’s straight up chilling. The power he had. His magnetism. There will never be another.
-
That scream at the end and those eyes opening… goosebumps every time. RIP

Musical grunge genius. Gone too soon. Never to be forgotten. Not just for us MTV generation. For 100 years and more. They will never forget Nirvana 🖤

The cup that Kurt drinks from at 5:51 is the entire 90s in a single object.
