How to Not Tap Out When Things Get Hard | Sadie Robertson Huff & Nick Vujicic

Published 2023-01-11
Nick Vujicic, known as the man without limbs, is living proof that God can use a man born without arms and legs to be His hands & feet in the world. Sadie and Nick talk about staying humble and how an attitude of gratitude is one of the best ways to pull yourself out of a dark, even depressed season. Nick shares his struggles with depression and loneliness and how being bullied when he was a kid led to believing the lie that he should take his own life. Thankfully, he wasn't successful and his mission now through his organization, Life Without Limbs, is to share the Gospel with as many people as possible. The next time you want to tap out because it's too hard, start counting your blessings, naming them one by one, and remember that Christ didn't call us to an easy life, but to love God, love others, and share the good news to everyone!

  • I love how he is not afraid to say the truth a lot of new-age preachers are trying to take the scripture and make it looks good for the desire of our flesh .

“Until you’re faithful to the little he won’t send you to the world”✍🏽💯❤️❤️❤️
  • This was "hands down" (some Nick humor for you 🤣) the best episode yet! Great way to start out a new season! I love Nick and have read most of his books! I love how he shared about mental health. 2021 was one of the hardest years for me. I truly felt like God had given up on me and nothing made sense, but what I learned through breaking my leg (I'm a wheelchair user because of a congenital birth disorder) and being on bedrest due to a wound that began while in the hospital, is that God put people in my life to help me get through that time. I was a full-time student at the time, finishing my bachelor's degree. Even though I had to move back home, some staff members remained very important in my life. One of those people was the Dean of students and he knew me so well he convinced me I needed to use the counseling services my college offered. I continued therapy until months after graduation and after I healed my leg and wound. It is so important to not bury those difficult feelings!
  • Nick is a powerful voice for The Gospel. He really knows how to interpret the message of our Father with precision to the heart, every time! Thank you Nick love susie
  • @AnjewlaSparks
Wow, i love the kick on ‘toxic positivity’ that doesn’t by pass the real human suffering, because we are real humans.

Whoa! I’m 52 and my hiney is sore after listening to this! What a great great podcast and a kick in the rear every Christian - young and OLD - needs! We have gotten so lazy and watered the gospel down so much - no wonder our world is in the shape it’s in! Thank you so much - I will be listening again and start truly zoning in on how I can be the hands and feet of Jesus!
  • @HeyTripleJ

That's so awesome! I just read John 9 this morning before I watched this. This world has a question of, "why do bad things happen to good people?" Jesus explains to us. It's for the glory of God to be shown through! Have a wonderful day everyone!
  • This podcast was extremely encouraging this morning. Nick- Your testimony helped me have a better day. Thank you for speaking God’s word into people’s lives! ❤
  • I remember this man came to visit my high school in Utah to speak all the way back in 2011!!!
  • @mtredeker7294
I just love Nick. I would love his family and be close friends with them! What an awesome man of God who goes wherever God sends him to preach the word of God.
  • “You don’t know what God can do until you hand over what you have to him.” Had to pause the video to write this down. The key to finding out what God will do in your life is to first hand over all you have to him in all aspects of life.
  • This was a perfect interview to start out the new year! His story is so inspirational! 😊
