Personally think the Kane criticism is very harsh. Not gonna bury my head in the sand say that only a few touches in the opposition box is acceptable but I believe it is the system that is to blame (also wouldn’t rule out him carrying a knock but if so that’s poor man management rather). In our system both “ wingers” sat deep as part of a defensive block, meaning that even when we won the ball back and passed in to Kane, the team was so deep with no attackers in behind where Kane could arrive into the box to meet crosses/pullbacks like for Bayern. Further to this, due to Kane’s lack of press would require pressing from the front as a unit that work around a smaller number of sprints for Kane. Deschamps and Southgate are not comparable. Deschamps has a plan and picks players accordingly. Southgate however didn’t have a single clue about how England should play. The players often looked like they didn’t know how to behave on the pitch although they are managed by the best in the business in their clubs.

Tbh Portugal did “create” all of chances but the opportunities were half assed… the crossing was absolutely abysmal and the play was way to slow… Ronaldo never had anyone in the box w him! The formation with the player selection was all wrong by Roberto Martinez… Bernardo Silva as a winger is awful and having him on the pitch with Bruno is a disaster, no late runners into the box and the right side was always way to overloaded and it was unnecessary… Portugal were absolutely poor and everyone saying Ronaldo was the biggest issue lmao sure he wasn’t great but the whole team was awful except Vitinha and Palhinha (with his side back role)… everyone else was TERRIBLE but everyone solely blaming Ronaldo is a joke

Saying that you were surprised that Ronaldo didn’t score is crazy, if you don’t have any bias towards him you would know that he wasn’t doing anything the whole tournament

In terms of “Will Ronaldo do another tournament?” I feel like his CR7 brand would benefit massively with having him playing in the World Cup in the Americas. And he will think about that more than his country’s success. Which is actually kind of sad.

Portugal needs to build their attack around a younger quicker guy who just scores goals, as they have Bruno who creates the most chances in football, so they need to give bruno the ball and get in position

On 15 April on my twitter page I predicted euro final Spain vs Germany and Spain to win 1-2 in aet and I said semi final would be Spain France Italy and Germany but I got Spain vs Germany result correct but wrong stage of the tournament and I love the vids keep up the amazing work and i can’t wait until your premiership prediction vid this season

My Predictions for group D and E are the most frustrating to get wrong because I had everything right bar France > Austria, and had Ukraine 1st and Romania 4th instead of the other way round
