It wasn't that Lot's wife looked back out of curiosity. They were told to flee with just the clothes on their back, leaving everything they owned behind. According to the bible Lot was fairly well off so when they fled they left many luxury items behind. Thats why Lot's wife looked back. Not out of curiosity but rather out of longing for her possessions she was leaving behind. Jesus alluded to her in Luke 17:26-32 when he counseled the first century Christians to flee when the time came and to not return for their possessions. He reminded them to "Remember the wife of Lot" in verse 32.

“while we keep our eyes, not on the things seen, but on the things unseen. For the things seen are temporary, but the things unseen are everlasting.” -2 Corinthians 4:18

Wow! The synthesis of history, geology, religion, the use of technology, the storyline, having various experts explain the occurrences, the videography, and Albert Lin's narration made this documentary a true masterpiece!

The fact that we get free documentaries from National Geographics on YouTube is priceless, keeping the education and knowledge alive 🙏🙏🙏 May I also remind you the fact that our Native American population in our motherland, the Continent of America before the European Colonizers arrived, was around 15 millions, while the European population in their motherland, the Continent of Europe was around 25 millions. Today, Native American population is 15 million, while the European population, in the Continents of America + Europe, is a staggering TWO BILLION! A shocking sad truth. 😔 In my humble opinion, it's about time to decolonize the Colonized lands, and return it to rightful owners Native American people. Notorious global cardinal crimes the Christian West has committed, and benefited a great deals, such as Slavery & Colonialism had long been over, why on earth is notorious Colonization still lingering on, may I ask? 😔🤷

Lord, grant us the serenity to accept the things we cannot change, the courage to change the things we can, and the wisdom to know the difference. 🕊🙏

Just funny how people even with all evidence presented will always insist that its a lie. Crazy world...

I greatly appeciate how this was done with a respect for the Holy Bible and those of us who believe what it tells us. I love archaeology, especially Biblical, but because many shows seek only to prove the Bible is just stories or myths, I don't usually watch them. I believe the Bible to be truly God's communication with the humanity He created even if and when science can corroborate real life possibilities. Thanks so much!
