  • 555's seem like the best choice. Thanks for going through this review! Moog used to be good stuff, but nowadays they don't seem to be doing quite as well. Duralast is just asking to use that lifetime warranty and I only want to do ball joints every 200k, not 40k.
  • Dude, this was very helpful, thank you much appreciated 🙏

Can’t wait to see the motor mount video. Can you please do a video on the rear trailing arm bushings?
  • @GHE2005
Thx u for that valuable information. My HE has had problems and I will buy the 555 for my back ones. 👍🏾
  • @LifeSOSlive
Thx. In the future can you include helpful details in the video description section like part numbers. That would be way more helpful. Cheers!

Moog has internal plastic on their balljoints. Pre 2010 they were a great brand

Awesome info 555 MADE IN JAPAN 🔥
  • @ari1234.
I bought 2 but 1 has more play than the other. Is that ok?
  • I replaced the warn out Moog ball joints on my 2003 with some new Moog ball joints. So far so good. I like the look of the 555 too.
  • Just been there and done that myself in the last month. Stay away from Mevotech as well. The grooved style cuts into the spindle, which if you replace them will end up just cutting the spindle again. In the end the mounting area gets chewed up and no matter what mount you install it will be loose and eventually fail.
  • What do you think about the brand CTR? It is very similar to the 555. The CTR does not uses any locking ring nor cotter pin but nylon locking nut. They are a supplier of OEM parts for Korean automotive.

Installed moog balljoints, stabilizer link and control arms driver side so far so good. Cant wait to install on the passenger side. Also replacing moog stabilizer link rear soon.

Haynes book says you change ball joint only once on Honda, then replace knuckle. Groan.
