I found the video of Reddit. Really cool the theory that the designers of the movie misrepresented the covers without realizing the flat shoes were chucks in the first place. Maybe something like that really happened. Who knows...

yes but ballet shoes are more bendy and the harder toes of pointe shoes are going to hurt the villans more when she kicks them and its more authentic as spiders walk on pointed legs, and last ballerinas are very strong lean but strong like a cat and whats not to love about a blond ballerina in blue shoes that nearly match her eyes, I know blonds and blue eyed isn't everyones favorite look but for many they think its a beautiful flamboyant look
