    Failed major order. Not a surprise. 1. Part of player base refuses to fight bots, 2. Sony drama/removed country's/lower moral, 3. Bug fix on counter for kills, 4. Fewer bots per mission than bugs.

    They confirmed that 4 man was also broken as well, but not as immediately noticeable. When you would start to notice this is after complete a main objective and destroying factories. The bot drops would start to stack on top of each other wave after wave. With solo/duo/trio it was just more apparent from the start. Since they haven't reverted it yet, you can try this for yourself by completing all the map objectives as fast as possible, then intentionally trigger a bot drop on extraction. Even at level 7 with a 4 man it never stops - you get to the point where you think you've wiped them all out, only to have patrols appear from 2 or 3 directions and call another in. My squad did this last night on purpose to get more bot kills for the MO, and it got so bad at one point we decided to evac with 10 minutes left, only for the Pelican to be destroyed and we had to call another. In all the time I've played HD2 I've never had that happen, even on level 9.

    Also the fact that so few people are playing, i logged on during the weekend and saw less than 70k combined on automaton planets when typically youd see that for just one planet during the week.

    MO now needs to accommodate a tiny game player base. That 2b and freeing four planets can not be achieved anymore, and I doubt the game can recover that 300k player base anymore from Sony's bullshit.

    I wish that destroying bug holes and factories mattered more. Random spawned patrols, bug breaches and bot drops should be reduced and patrols from bug holes and factories should be increased.
  • I really wish they would fix blinding light sources in this game. Every damn lampost or glowing bubble on the ground creates a zone of visual obstruction where you can't see anything in it, and if you walk into that zone, you can't see anything outside of it. Its really irritating having to destroy lights and glowing objects on the ground just so you can see things properly. I've noticed that on some missions the light doesn't pose much of a problem, but on others, especially ones at night or with fog, its terrible. I've tried turning off bloom but that makes no difference.

    I love that the devs are listening to the players. Excellent devs, now if the publisher would just get their panties untwisted, set free the locked regions and allow this game to be as great as it can be, that would be superb. Still good news.

  • We are deploying all forces yet still no second mech, no buggy, no APC, no actual tank. No access to Helldivers 2 for +100 countries that previously had it. Their implementation of strategems through story is cool, the story moves at a snails pace though and 95%, of the major orders do not matter at all.

    2:50 They don't say. I could care less bout the bugs, I can handle massive over spawns on Helldive as a "hey that's my fetish" situation. Bots on the other hand, spawning 4 ATATs, 5 heavy tanks, 20 roid raged hellbots, and 90 others, and having to deal with that a second and a third time within 5 minutes is just stupid. They don't de-aggro on ya either, they will chase you around the map, which of course aggros more enemies and multiplies all that crap.
