hello. i hope you realize you've purchased "Gaming laptop" before you complaining size , noise ,batterylife, and power supply things.. but i agree with lack of usb ports i have XPS 15 (very similar with your precision) and Alienware 17r4 and brand new 51m r2, these laptop has different genre, i recommend try to find in Asus Zephyrous series if you want compressed size laptop as pericision model with keep 15r2's performances ,

got my m15 r2 for almost 2weeks. the only complain is battery life really sucks.

Loudness, heat, battery life, size, weight, etc etc are things to be expected from any powerful gaming rig. Don’t like any of those? Don’t get a gaming rig hehe. You take any of those away then you’ll end up complaining about low FPS lol.

Bad take, if you gonna buy a gaming laptops all your points dismissed. *the extra area in the back of the laptop is where it exhaust all the heat which is good for your laptop *who would use a gaming laptop without plug in it to power socket and are you kidding me? The size of an adapter you gonna complain about? Why? *and no the fans are never loud when you are using it for something other then gaming and who the hell use it in an airport to browse the internet youse you go damn phone.
