Sorry for the abrupt cut at 4:02. Copyright overlords forced me to trim a good 20 seconds out!

Who knew being a star didn't require pretending to be Conor

That "Look at me." to Israel was fuckin' cold.
  • @Laglager
"I beat that guy one time" - israel adesanya
  • Pereira is what Adesanya always wanted to be. Pereira is a hall of famer kickboxer with 2 belts in two different weight classes even with half of Adesanya fights in KB. Pereira is a UFC hall of famer with 2 belts in two different weight classes. Pereira is 3-1 against Adesanya. Pereira defeated more UFC world champions than Adesanya even with half of Adesanya fights in MMA. Pereira is beloved by people around the world and doesnt try to force a character. Pereira has less than 3 years in MMAA but he is already the number one athlete in whole MMA world. And everybody see the jealous in Izzy eyes and words when Pereira's name is mentioned in front of him.

Lives in the same town as me, I’ve Met him several times including at my gym and at a Walmart. Super nice and polite. Funny to see him in places you would never Imagine

The 1st person to submit Poatan gonna be the most hated fighter in the UFC😂😂
  • @yenohtnA
This dude resonates with everyone bc he’s real. Hard as a coffin nail and is constantly himself in every situation. Mad respect. And of course, chama

One thing will always be stuck in my mind: Before the last round of Adesanya vs Gastelum, Adesanya says he’s ready to die inside that octagon to get the belt Before the last round of Adesanya vs Alex 1 when he’s asked by the referee: Are you ready? Alex says: “I’m ready to kill” That’s movie shit bro.
  • Such a legend! As a brazilian i'm proud and sad at the same time because of the lack of mma coverage by the local media this days compared to when i started to watch, Anderson Silva reign era. Now i have to show my friends and parents who Poatan is. It's nice to see how praized this monster is worldwide. Sorry for my bad english. Chama, from 🇧🇷👊🏼
  • As a Brazilian i dont watch UFC But Alex made me interested for me he represents the Brazilian indigenous Warriors end it makes me happy for him having this sucess.
  • @catchmein4K

I had literally never heard of Alex until the press conference of UFC 281. I was rooting for him since I disliked Izzy and he did not disappoint. After the knockout at 287 I was upset and thought it was over for Poatan. But he moved up and has dominated since, I can’t believe in how short of a time this man has become one of my absolute favorite fighters in the game. *I’m happy to be a fan in his era and am stoked that he and Islam are the PFP top 2 🐐🔥 I will look back at this time as the golden era for the UFC 🥲

Bro built like a villain and when you're an MMA fan who likes Adesanya, knowing little about Alex other than the fact that he was the guy who beat, the seemingly likeable and heroic Israel 2 times, it's easy to see him as a sort of boogey man, the villain in Adesanya's story. But when you look into it, Alex Pereira is even more admirable and inspirational than Israel. He is a legitimately good human, someone I really looked up to. He was the one who inspired to me start going to the gym and learn kickboxing. The story of his childhood and alcoholism has also helped me abstain completely.
  • @williamfox1835
He’s become the face of the UFC over the last year and it’s glorious.
