His eyes are weirdly very gentle and very cruel at the same time.

it still blows my mind how cillian hasn't won a single emmy for his performance in peaky blinders, every season he tops himself its unbelievable
  • @Beedulgi99
Cillian is one of those rare actors that can perfectly portray any role: protagonist, antagonist, romantic hearthrob, psychopathic villian, traumatized soldier, charismatic gangster. Man is a chameleon of an actor and he is always able to bring a new side of him to the big screen.

His accent diversity is also very under appreciated, truly a brilliant actor .

I don’t think I’ve ever heard him speak this much as himself.

His role in peaky blinders was made for him, no one else could play Thomas Shelby Edit: and look as good doing it!
  • He is the epitome of being an actor not a movie star. He's so interesting to watch and the stories he tells with his eyes are interesting.

He's a guy who looks like a model, but plays some seriously dark roles. And really captures the insanity or emotions the film wants. Like in 28 days, he really played a man trying to survive a nightmare. Very realistic. He's a very talented actor. Very rare to have an actor with his looks not be top of the tabloids.

He is one of the few actors that literally doesn't look like he's acting, he seems like he is becoming the character.

Nolan clearly thinks so very highly of Cillian, keeps him bringing him back. I’m really glad Nolan finally made a film with Cillian as the lead, I look forward to the Oppenheimer film.

Just finished Peaky Blinders and man….I can’t put into words how incredible this show is. Tommy Shelby is a generational character played by the most under rated actor of all time. Couldn’t be more sad it’s over!!
  • @Simskii
Thomas shelby is really good at playing Cillian Murphy.

His acting in Peaky Blinders is beyond good. He makes the show

Hard to believe that this video has 3 million more views than the population of Ireland. Proud to be Irish with people like cillian representating us
  • He is one of those actors who just does his job, isn't involved with any scandals, doesn't show up dressed like a hobo or like a peacock and thus doesn't become a talked about super star, but he definitely shaped modern cinema. Great dude.
  • Imagine being an actor at a level where Nolan calls you up for a role
  • @kinematics6
He has 0 competition for the Oscar this year in my opinion, He murdered it. Always found him an amazing actor.

Breakfast on Pluto was a movie where Cillian Murphy stole my heart. You can smell, feel and breath the person he is portraying. It's like a smooth river that takes you in it's flow and never let's go. Very enjoyable, very intense, also scary.
