So, I REwatched ALL of Part 2... 🐉 Ninjago Dragons Rising Season 2 Part 2 UPDATED Thoughts!

Here are my updated thoughts on Part 2 of Season 2. I have a list of over 100 new videos I wanna make, in addition to the SDCC stuff. Many videos are ahead. 👍

The new look of how elemental powers are animated and visualized in this new show looks pretty cool, you can see that clearly in Nokt and Kai’s fight

I also liked this season but the plot twist at the end was just so shocking

Things I had an issue with: -Zeatrix being kinda ruined. I was hoping she’d be better than her sister. -Euphraisia doesn’t interact with the ninja.

I honestly though it was alright but I wish jay could’ve had gotten more screen time. However it was shocking that the source dragons could be killed.

A huge disappointment was Jay's screentime. He barely shows up in the series, we have almost no idea about everything happening to him since the merge and his role is so unimportant. I hope in season 3 he gets a more important role than being a side/extra character and more screentime and information about him

I loved it all besides Jay ‘s very minimal screentime and importance

i just want jay to be good again or if not good then i want him to have like an insane villain arc

I think the blood moon ritual was tied to bonzle because she was the spell that locked them in the first place. Without Bonzle, Nokt can’t open the Netherspace during the blood moon, so that’s probably why he used dragon ivory to open the gate

I realized recently that I don't mind powers like surface tension, quake, and heat as much as I used to because they would have existed in a different realm from water, earth, and fire.

I personally like vibe of season 4 tournament more, but this is good too aside from jay and some elemental powers

I actually kind of like how the new powers are like secondary ones to the old powers. Maybe the Merge caused elemental energy to be stronger, so some elemental powers split off into other, more specific ones. (Example: heat being a split off power from fire)

Jay’s involvement with Raas was kinda random, he doesn’t interact with anyone on that team, the dynamic is nonexistent, and Arin wanting info from him seems like an afterthought.

In season 8 Sons of Garmadon, Harumi brought Garmadon back, trained him, convinced him, and manipulated him. And we saw every moment of that. That's why the Lloyd vs Garmadon fight was amazing. But Dragons rising didn't wanna do the same with Jay, they could've shown how Ras rescued him, manipulated him, trained him with shatterspin and at the end Jay would win against Nya and that could be one of the best moments of Jay in Dragons rising. We didn't even see Jay training with cinder and nokt. They screwed up the opportunity. I'm mad for that.

I love the new suits. especially nya's new tournament suit looks so good.

I think we overhyped it (especially evil jay 😔) but still a solid szn overall dragon raisings szn 2 is one of the best szn

Honestly I really liked that the winners would get the losers powers because that allowed for a lot of fun and interesting fights in my opinion

S2 part 2 is so over hated. Imo it was so cool to see elementsl powers used by other people, and the vibe of this season had such an epic feeling. Arin was handled so well and also the new elements arent as dumb as people say. They already mentioned how the merge created new elements

Pretty much the only scenes I like in the second part of Season 2 is when Zane learns the Rising Dragon technique and Cole having a small flashback of his mother.
