Here's a compilation of various 1969 Lola T70 Mk3B prototypes I recorded in the past few years during historic racing weekends around Europe. Listen to the amazing roar of theirs 5.0-litre Chevrolet V8 engines, able to produce around 450hp!

  • My all-time favourite GT car. To these thrashing around Oulton Park in the late 60s was a schoolkids dream

The sound of these beasts never disappoints at classic racing events

Ein akustischer Traum, wie langweilig sich dagegen die heutigen Rennwagen anhören......

That opening startup. You catch plenty of great stuff!!!
  • I've always been a Porsche guy but the T70 is an absolutely beautiful car. I might even go so far as to say the Sunoco T70 specifically is probably my favorite looking classic gt car. The green number 34 in this video is particularly nice as well.

It’s amazing to me that Eric Broadley and Lola get so little credit in the legend of the making of Ford’s GT40.
  • Thanks for posting. I became a race fan at age 15 and loved SCCA Trans-Am and Can-Am and later IMSA Camel GT. Watched many Lolas race at Laguna Seca back in 1970. Great looking and sounding race cars.

Honestly, the T70 and the GT40 are both the Sexiest race cars I've ever seen! Pure 1960's Beauty!😍❤️🔥🏁
  • Every time I watch this, I feel so much better. I'm beginning to think that Lolas are therapeutic.

Amazing car.... absolutely sensational! One of the best sounds ever, beautiful car! That is real racing!
  • @RRVCrinale
And what makes this so special is, if you so wish, you can still get a "new" one in the form of the Broadley T76. You don't get to say that too often.
  • @brownwrench
Nothing beats the sound of a good raunchy American V8
  • @ImpManiac
I never get tired of watching - and listening to - these glorious Lolas. 😍 Thank you! Paul 😎
  • This is another favorite race car of mine Bozzy. I love the T70 MK3B. They hold a special place in my heart along with many others.
  • For me, the Lola T70 Mk3 is the most awesome-looking racing car ever. Beautiful and fearsome at the same time.
  • @stevecanyon23
Absolutely radical. These cars are the real race cars. I've always loved to see and hear them perform. Thanks for uploading!

Can you imagine a modern version of this car, sporting a C7R V8?...🤯
