With a combination of archive and interviews we explore the truth behind the headlines. Is there really a war between Prince William and Prince Harry? As speculation heats up around Prince Harry’s and Prince William’s relationship, are the rumours of a rift true? Are we heading for a royal show down or is it something that has been blown up by the media?

The two Princes have grown up in the media spotlight and are rumoured to have grown apart. They now have separate charities, split social media accounts, different staff and two households. We analyse how this sibling relationship has changed over the years, from the strong bond formed, to meeting their new wives and starting a family of their own. We ask what the future holds for the brothers and the ‘Fab Four’.

From Elizabeth II to Cleopatra, Real Royalty peels back the curtain to give a glimpse into the lives of some of the most influential families in the world, with new full length documentaries posted every week covering the monarchies of today and all throughout history.

Diana would be heartbroken if she knew that her sons were not speaking and a rift between them.

I wish people stop comparing them Two different personalities Leave them alone

I wonder what Princess Diana would be doing, with her sons and daughter's in law and grandchildren. So SAD, she was killed. Miss seeing her face. So special she was.👑❤

Reading these comments, I’ve just realized how horribly it must breaks my moms heart that my brother and I refuse to talk to each other. Her last bday, him and I agreed to play nice in front of her. She told me it was her happiest bday she ever had. At that moment I realized it was no longer about our disagreements, but letting my mom die peaceful knowing we would take care of each other.

I lost my Mom at 13 and my brothers were 18 and 21. None of us were ever the same. I feel for these two.

We can't choose what family we are born into, or the experiences we encounter as a child. But we can choose the sort of adult we turn into.

As a mother of two sons that aren't close as they were it breaks a mother's heart

I really do sympathise with the spare, but look at Princess Anne..she is an amazing example of a spare who accepted her position and still decided to serve, albeit on her own terms. In my mind, she comes a close second to Queen Elizabeth, as an example of royal service and selfless service…an example of people first…I have such respect for her
  • I feel so sad that this has happened. I think Diana would be heartbroken.
  • As a mother of two sons, about the same ages as William and Harry, it would break my heart to know my sons were not speaking to each other or anything. It's such a heartbreak and I sincerely hope those two boys find their way home to each other.

The riff started way before Meghan! The brothers started growing apart a long time ago! So much hatred towards them from strangers. People who don’t know them and most likely , never will. The constant comparisons are just simply ridiculous! No one but those involved will ever know the real truth.

When there is a wedge between two siblings, a wedge who has "an agenda", then the gap is insurmountable. Sadly, such is the case when "the agenda" is vicious & destructive.

Siblings. The relationship ebbs and flows throughout your lifetime. It’s called life and theirs is under a microscope.
  • @Vellamina
I think the main difference between them mirrors the difference between the Queen and Princess Margaret. Duty vs personal freedom.

I was 39 when I lost my mom, and it was very difficult for me. I can't imagine losing mom at 15, much less at 12.

As long as they are both alive there is possibility of reconciliation. People need to focus on their own lives and butt out.

This is so sad 🥺. I hope William and Harry find their way back to each other. Rift or not, they’re brothers. 💔 Hopefully sooner rather than later
  • It’s kind of hard to be the Second Child in the family since the First Child is always in the focus of public eyes.
