I truly think Chris pratt and jack black are the most excited about playing their characters and the movie

After watching it, I really love this movie, the voice actors really did an super amazing job 👏

I was so skeptical about Pratt in the trailers. But throughout the film I was so happy with his and everyone else's performance aside from bits of DK and even then it was still an amzing movie

Your statement on why Toad's voice was changed reminds me of an article I've read, explaining why Mario and Luigi have different voices as well. It's a wonder we never knew about this before. Aaron Horvath, one of the directors, told The Hollywood Reporter... “Our feeling was you wouldn’t believe that [Mario] was a real character doing that [cartoony Italian] accent for the entirety of the film. We grew up with the [1989] Super Show! and the movie where part of it is they’re from Brooklyn, so it just felt like a natural course for us to take.” Since the directors wanted the Bros. to feel like real and natural characters, Mario and Luigi now have normal-sounding voices, similar to the old Mario cartoon show that they grew up with. For that reason, I think they nailed it. If only their New York accents were slightly thicker, and the editors used better takes on Mario in certain scenes.
